15.7. Beginnings and endings
Africa begins and ends with the same letter. Read a book with a title that begins and ends with the same letter. Subtitles can be used or disregarded - your option, but a subtitle used must be part of the "official" Goodreads title. No series titles can be used.
For example, you could use Anna Karenina, or Devil in the Details: Scenes from an Obsessive Girlhood (using the subtitle), or Time Bandit: Two Brothers, the Bering Sea, and One of the World's Deadliest Jobs (ignoring the subtitle).

Sheila (sheilaj) | 2221 comments Are you counting "The" as part of the title Sandy? I'm thinking of books like The Summons

Yes, "the" is part of the title - every word in the title counts.

If the edition you read doesn't include this as part of the title, then it works. Be careful to link to the correct edition when you post.

Chris (chrismd) | 1237 comments A recommendation for YA/sports fiction fans
Pop - teenage football player deals with trying to fit into a new town where he meets a former NFL player dealing with early Alzheimers as a result of too many concussions during his player years. Really well told.

Thanks! I was surprised to find that part of the title wasn't even on my book cover - I'll be sure to link my specific one.

I've seen that with other books, too, and never have figured out why - maybe they wanted larger print for the titles on some editions and ran out of space????

Amanda A | 614 comments Would 6 Killer Bodies work (even though the number is not spelled out)?

No, it has to be the letter "s", not a numeral.
