Just so you know Patti, everyone in work loved my cake. I may not be the most graceful in the kitchen but the end result is always good.

Listening to you bake was very entertaining, Jud. Were able to plug the hole nicely?

Yeah - did the icing in the bottom work?

the icing in the bottom was perfect i turned the cake over so the hole was in the middle bit if you know what i mean so you didnt notice it when they were both sandwiched together.

Will be baking again in 7 weeks Patti if you want to tune in ;o)

I bet it was delicious! I'm craving carrot cake now but there were no carrots at the shop today. All that was there were dried out, wrinkly potatoes, old green beans and mouldering garlic. I'll have to check the new veg shop tomorrow.

Quick dry colour in deep reds. I prefer matt, not glittery. It's for my toes, actually. I rarely bother to do my fingers.
