Johnny English was great (: It was very funny, and there was an extra bit after the credits that only my boyfriend and I saw

It's about an unmanned train (full of toxic chemicals) that no one can stop, that's shooting through towns and near schools

Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) (nosemanny) | 8590 comments Haha - I remember being able to recite EVERY WORD of an hour long Fireman Sam vhs because one of my daughters watched it over and over. I can probably still sing the theme tune!

Darren Humphries (darrenhf) | 6903 comments Talk about kids rewatching the same thing, you got off easy. I have to regularly put up with the live action Thunderbirds movie. Now that's torture.

message 472: by Lorraine (new)

Lorraine Versini (lorraineversini) | 8438 comments I think all kids do that Darren. I had to sit through Pinocchio twice a day for a week when my little bro had chickenpox. With Ollie, it's Cars. Although I don't mind watching Cars Toons because I just love Mater. When I used to babysit my neighbour's little girl as a teen, we had Lion King and Pocahontas every day. And she used to sing the songs and I swear she's damaged my ears. My cousin, well he's a weirdo. He was a bit more "grown up" he had a thing about the parody of Lethal Weapon (don't know the English name for it).

Me? No I don't think I had a fixation like that.

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments My niece would watch The Little Mermaid over and over and over. I started buying everything I could find with a mermaid in just so we'd have some variety when I baby sat her. She was so sweet though, sat in her little furry pink chair, wearing her mermaid outfit, singing her wee heart out.

Katy | 2662 comments Have you seen the cartoons on now? Be glad your kids are watching the good stuff!

My brother was watching a program earlier.. It started off 'If you eat worms, it will make you ill' and I thought "Oh, something educational. Weird, but educational". I was wrong. It carried on "you will get a tape worm in your stomach, that will grow and grow until its head sticks out of your mouth and talks for you. When it is big enough, you will turn into a tape worm!"

I was at a loss for words!

As Gingerlily says, they couldn't be more different. Both feature children and Labyrinth in the title, but one is a kiddies' movie with muppets and the other is just a fabulous psychological horror movie with a shattering ending.
