Just watched ...

And it featured the most beautiful woman in the world (TM) of the time Jacqueline Bisset.

That one good a pretty good review from the Great Quiff Mark Kermode.
On the other hand, he also liked Twiglet-Breaking Wind which I went to see last night and was somewhat less than impressed with. And if you must know I went because a friend of mine is determined to see them and nobody else will go with her - nuff said.

I was quite disappointed with that movie, especially after the superb final series.

Sounds like a false teeth convention to be Lorraine.

Also caught Season of the Witch on Sky with Nicolas Cage. What happened Nic? You won an oscar for Leaving Las Vegas and were hailed as the actor of your generation for the likes of Birdy. Now you're doing clag like this ... and not making it any better either.

That's weird Darren, I just watched that last night too on Lovefilm! Not good, was it, even the presence of Ron Perlman didn't help. I keep watching Nic Cage movies though, cos when he's good he's very very good. Only recent one I would recommend is Kick-Ass, great fun but not one to watch with the kids! He looks like he's having fun again in that. The young chap Aaron Johnson who plays Kick-Ass is good, saw him in Nowhere Boy as the young John Lennon recently and he was excellent in that.

I thought that movie was hilarious, it was so cheesy sterotypically American (I hope this doesnt come across as offensive but it was just so unbritish) Was very good though. I'm looking forward to seeing Sherlock Holmes out tomorrow :o)

What, all of them? Just how long is your flight?
Tinker Tailor etc is excellent though. And I watch anything with Ewan Macgregor in it but lately that hasn't been a good move, sadly

I'm thinking The Help cuz I loved the book, We Need to Talk About Kevin, again because I liked the book but the subject matter is rather gloomy and Red Riding Hood cuz I've wanted to see it for ages.
But I'll also want to watch all the Simpons episodes....
Good thing there's no entertainment on the short flight or I wouldn't be reading Darren's book. I hate the short flight. Small plane. Ich.

Tinker Tailor and Super 8 would be among my choices, with Pirates of the Caribbean if I have time (Because I've already seen it).

When I watched it, it was just called Help and John was hilarious.

I really didn't enjoy Red Riding Hood even though I was so excited for it D:

Kick Ass is absolutely ace and the first time that I think Nic Cage has done anything worth watching in a very long time.

Tinker Tailor got very good reviews, as did There's Something about Kevin, but it's not an easy subject. The only two that I've seen are Battle: Los Angeles which wasn't all that and Harry Potter 7B which was good, as long as you've seen the other 7 movies.

We're watching Stone at the moment. Really good. Couldn't not be with DeNiro and Edward Norton in it. I really should concentrate on it.

After Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, both actors went on to make another western. Robert Redford made the superb Jeremiah Johnson, whilst Newman made the quirky, but interesting Judge Roy Bean.
