I think Rafe's book was the first one I ever read by Roberts. I'm in.

I'm in too. Though Roberts is hit or miss with me (I love some of her books, but others leave me flat), I've never read this series.

BTW, is it four months from today? I've never done a dare challenge before! ;)

I’m out, since I read these two months ago (I think), but I’m in for the discussion.

I liked Rafe’s and Devin’s (1st and 3rd) books best, because they also had a suspense sub-plot, but also relationship wise. I thought these two books were the most “evenly” matched both in hero and heroine department, while the second (Jared and Savannah) was jarring, because I didn’t particularly like the heroine, and the fourth (Shane and Rebecca) felt more like a filler, than a romance, since the chemistry was almost non-existent.

Yay, glad i'll have some company. Haven't decided what day to start it yet, but we can pick a date together.

I loved these books! I haven't read them in years. I don't know about reading them again, hard to find time for rereads with so many other books in my TBR mountain. Maybe this is an excuse to read them again. =)

I read them years ago too and loved them and have always wanted to reread them and got sidetracked by others,so this is my chance and I`m stickin to it !!!

This sounds like fun! I haven't done a challenge yet. I've enjoyed Nora Roberts in the past. I don't remember the name of the series, but it was about the Quinn brothers. I'm IN!

I finished reading the first 2 books, so let me know when you're through with the first Samantha, i don't want to spoil you. ^.^

Since these are harlequin books, i was a bit surprised at how good they were. There is only the barest trace of the harlequin cliches, but the characters themselves are very NR.

I'm in. I have never read this series, but just bought them on e-book.

I'm starting book 1 tonight :)

Rossy, I finished the first book and really enjoyed it. It didn't feel old or outdated. I like the banter between Rafe and Regan. The side story about Cassie made it more interesting and now I'm anxiously waiting to read Devin's story.

I'm on book two. Don't care about Jared or Shane. So far Savannah seems ok but it is still early and time will tell how much I like this story.

I just finished the series. They all made a match that was perfect for them and each story was a delight to read. I liked Rafe and Devin best. My least favorites were Shane and Jared. The "ghostly" history was interesting and kept my interest as well. I can't believe I waited so long to read one of Nora's best!

I just finished the first book and I'm a little taken back. The beginning it started off so ... cheesy and almost comical. But once I got into the meat of the story I really liked it. There were times where I wanted to beat both Rafe and Regan senseless. Seriously. But I'm glad they got their HEA!

La la la, I can't hear you...lol. I am starting this series tonight.

I just finished the whole series. I read the 2nd book and was disappointed in Savannah. She had too many insecurities and lashed out on everyone because of them. I never warmed up to her and didn't want her with Jared.

This was one of the first times in a long, and I do mean long, time that I stayed up dying to know about the rest of the guys. Devin's story was probably the best. My absolute favorite. He won me over from book 1. I loved how he was patient and kind with Cassie and the kids. Glad they all came around.

Shane's story was blah. I liked it but it was almost like he was an after thought. Didn't care for that or him and Rebecca.

You are right, Samantha. My kids don't need to eat and be bathed tonight. They will be fine. Mommy has to get to this series...lol.

LMAO! Well don't neglect the kiddies but hurry them up to bed. LOL.

They are fine...lol. It would take them days to starve to death and I will have the book finished by then...lmao.

DISCLAIMER: I am joking. My kids are fed and bathed, most of the time...lol.

I would have loved to learn how the children turned out in the series. They were so adorable.

I just finished The Return of Rafe MacKade - it was just as good as I remembered! It isn't my favorite, but it is a good beginning to the series! Now to figure out when to read the others!

3 down and I love this series. Why are men like this only available in fiction books?

I just finished Shane's story. Oh my goodness, I absolutely loved it! It was my favorite of the series. I am in love with Shane and I found Rebecca so endearing. I am so going to miss these characters. Ugh!

I'm sure that sooner or later I'll have to give these a go. I have them as two double books, The MacKade Brothers: Rafe and Jared and The MacKade Brothers: Devin and Shane.

Photojim, they are really good in a "nice, easy read" way.

I think that was my favorite too. At least it is the one that stuck with me over the years! There was one line she "thought" at the end that always gives me the warm fuzzies every time I thought of it.... ~sigh~

I've finished The MacKade Brothers: Devin and Shane . Will start on The MacKade Brothers: Devin and Shane tomorrow..

Really like both stories. I love Roberts strong heroine's.

Haven't started them yet. Still trying to work them into the rotation. I need to fit them in a challenge lol
