The first two novels in my series The Vetala Cycle are now available. The Vetala are an ancient breed of vampire who stir whenever war breaks out and seek to make the conflicts even worse.
The first novel is The Eyes of the Dead. It is set in the trenches of the Western Front and follows an ordinary soldier, Private Wilson, who is hounded by the Vetala after he survives a massacre at Passchendaele.
The second novel is Shapes in the Mist. It is set in London during the WWI zeppelin raids. A fighter pilot, Jerry Reinhart, returns from the frontline and is confronted by the Vetala trying to resurrect Jack the Ripper to act as their herald.
