Vicky (librovert) | 2462 comments If translators are anonymous, is it even necessary to list them? I miserabili - Parte II has an Anonymous translator.

If a book is published as "Anonymous" but anonymous is known - either immediately or after some time, is it still necessary to have anonymous listed? Primary Colors: A Novel of Politics is listed occasionally with World Cat as Joe Klein
Jay's Journal is mostly listed under Beatrice Sparks on WorldCat.

What about something like Hotel Babylon that is written by Anonymous & An Author?

And finally... something like The Mabinogion Tetralogy, which seems more like a retelling than a translation of The Mabinogion.

Probably not. Maybe in the description.

I vote for no.

Some people are too cute. :P I'd just stick with the known author.

Adaptations should get the adaptor as primary author.
