Black Night by Christina Henry
Madeline Black, Agent of Death -- Maddy's the main character and she inherited the job of escorting the souls of the recently departed to the afterlife. When she's on the job, she wears a simple outfit in black (t-shirt, jeans, sneakers, and coat -- when needed). She also sprouts black wings. Though she acquired a sword in the book, that would be too awkward to handle in costume. She does carry a small dagger used to detach the soul from the body. As part of the costume, I would also include a coat pocket-sized gargoyle plush toy/beanie to represent Beezle, her guardian gargoyle (think Hugo from Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame, as voiced by Jason Alexander, and you get the idea of Beezle). I may include a small hat and scarf for Beezle.

In this case, it's not a problem ,because Agatha Christie has written far more than 10 books. As I pointed out in the help thread for this task, this "goodreads distinct works" is not accurate - I checked a few authors with fewer books, and the "distinct works" include things like omnibus editions, short stories published in an anthology, etc. So, people should not rely on this as a valid indicator of an author having published more than 10 books.
