Option 2 - Book Lover’s Day: Some of my favorite books are the "In Death" series by J.D. Robb. I'm slowly making my way through the series. Before this challenge, Judgment in Death (book #11) was my favorite. For this challenge, I read Imitation in Death (book #17) which has become my new favorite ;-). The book fits criteria E because the author uses initials.
Option 5 - National Adoption Day: I read Beaglemania by Linda O. Johnston which is about a no-kill animal shelter that rescues all kinds of animals (in this first book of the series, animals are specifically rescued from puppy mills and dog fighting rings).
