I plan to read
The Lost World by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in September
and
Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson in October
if someone wants to join me.

But I wanr to read both of those :)
Hugh, anyone is welcome!
Alice, I hope you can join me for Treasure Island. No pressure though.
Traci, September for The Lost World, and October for Treasure Island. I would say we just read at our speed throughout the month. I'll start threads for them.

I'm going to read Point of Impact Point Of Impact today or tomorrow (it's one of "my own books" I've been planning to read for a while and now I've decided to skip any more library books for a while. My own books are threatening to "get me as I sleep" if I don't stop ignoring them. It seems they intend to make an example out of me or Jason if we don't start reading our own books). Anyway, just thought I'd see if anyone wants to join in a buddy read.

Quest is the third book in the Dane Maddock series. These books can be read as stand alones, no need to start from book 1.
I hope to find at leaset one taker for this read :-)

WOW! How late am I to respond?!
Have you read the book Eileen?
I haven read it yet, I had many things on the back burner. I still want to get to this book.

No, I haven't read Quest yet. Like you I had other things to read first.
Let me know if...or...when, you want to do the buddy read.

I'll keep you posted.
I have 4 books going at the same time right now...geez

I always forget about this thread...thanks Tyler for the reminder! I haven't tried the Event Group series yet, but it is on my neverending "to read" list. Glad you are enjoying it!

I'm proposing to run an author supported buddy read in April 2020 for my new A Subtle Agency Omnibus collection of my first three books.
I've set up at Horror Aficionados (https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... ) and Castle Dracula.
If there is local interest, we can open up a supported buddy read here as well.
Noting that the stories are - in essence - action, adventure thrillers set in a near future setting with science-fiction, fantasy and horror tropes.
Plus the book will be FREE on kindle from the 1st to the 5th April inclusive.
What say you?
