What is the agenda and/or qualifications for this new group? I've got something like 30 full-length books (haven't bothered to count recently) and some shorter works currently in print (all were originally published "traditionally").
Hi Stephen,
There are no qualifications other than to be an author (or at least have a book in the works). 30 is a lot so I'll have to see about that! Please send me an email and we'll talk.

I'd be interested to learn more about this and what's involved. I am trying to promote my debut novel We, The Watched, which is available on eBook through Amazon and Smashwords.
Okay. I'm moving this down here because I've got to close the tap for a bit. lol. (As the group moderator, I know very few people check down here because two dozen of my poems/short stories are in this folder.)

Here is my novel profile on Goodreads:

And here is my book listed on Amazon:

Just to avoid any misconceptions it is actually an urban fiction action novel. The title has a deeper meaning than it suggests.

The problem with aliens in The Archives--they live too close, appear too attractive, make assumptions too weird, and are too nosy--telling humans that their way of doing business-as-usual is all wrong
THE WEBS OF VAROK is the second book in my completed five-book science fiction series, ready to publish. In 85,000 words, it tells the story of a quixotic microbiologist, her young daughter, and their alien family partners--a sassy, aquatic elll and an all-too-humanoid varok--who retreat from the ailing 21st Century Earth to the safety of the steady state society on nearby planet Varok. They hope to prove to Earth that the future can be secured in a no-growth environment. They are appalled to find Varok's economy disrupted by a ruthless traitor, a varokian beauty who also triggers a crisis of trust in the family. During a tangle of interspecies conflict and intrigue, an insult-loving insectoid helps the family build on their faith in each other so Tandra can outwit and expose the traitor. Hello Vincent, thank you for this opportunity, I hope you can accept my historical novel, An Unbreakable Bond. Set in 1913 - 1932 it tells the story of two girls brought up in an orphanage. Their lives take different paths, but the bond between them helps them overcome adversity. It contains scenes of domestic violence, prostitution, murder, and the breaking of a child sex ring, but although I tell it as it is, there is also a deep thread of love and how it helps to conquer all.
Out in paper back and on kindle, to date it has received 3 5* reviews from America and 8 5* reviews from British readers. I hope you feel it is a book you can include on your site, my very best wishes and much love, Mary - here is a link

I am interested in your proposal for my techo-thriller Perilous Panacea published by Savant Books and Publications.
Perilous Panacea describes how a computer wizard and an Iranian agent steal plutonium and uranium to make atomic bombs. To manufacture the bombs, an Iranian nuclear engineer is blackmailed and two American scientists are kidnapped. Chaos in Washington hinders FBI pursuit. All that stands between the world and nuclear catastrophe are the scientists, who must escape … escape or die.

I think all of us authors are looking for promotional help, thank you for your efforts!
My book is a true story based on my abused childhood at the hand of a pedophile. I recently challenged the B4U-Act group or any Doctor that believes pedophilia is an acceptable behavior; to read my recently published book and then look me in the eye and say that they really believe that society should embrace pedophilia!
I have had no response from them which does not surprise me at all given the content of my book.
If you or anyone else would like to read a disturbing firsthand look at the abuse of a pedophile, please use the coupon code I just created LE35S which drops my book price to $1.99 at check out. You can download it in many formats at https://www.smashwords.com/books/view.... I appreciate any feedback or support from you or any of the many authors or readers associated with this website.
Sincerely, Carol Fetter

BURIED PASTS
The first three chapters can be downloaded for free from this page. Should you wish to read any further than that I'll gladly send you a pdf of the entire 127,000 words.
Below is the review that Buried Pasts was given by Publishers Weekly when a quarter-finalist in this year's Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award.
A WWII bombing blitz over Berlin sets in motion the well-crafted plot of this sentimental thriller. Mike Stafford is a Canadian flying for England and leading a night bombing mission that ends with a crash landing and the unexpected death of his buddy. Siggi is a German woman whose mother dies during the bombings that same night. Eighteen years later, Siggi is unmarried and hardened by what happened to her, and family-man Stafford is heading back to England for a reunion of his old squadron. Fate brings Stafford and Siggi together to share their stories, but lurking behind the scenes is the emotionally disturbed son of Stafford’s dead friend out for revenge. Stafford blames himself for his friend’s death, but is there more to the story than he knows? Despite occasional lapses into melodrama, this page-turner blends suspense with a cast of characters who genuinely care for each other. It’s an engaging and satisfying novel for fans of adventure stories with a heart.
Best wishes
George Stratford

I'm sure you are awash in requests by now, but I wanted to throw my hat into the ring for the future. I've posted about my book before, but here is some info again, in case you haven't seen it. Thanks.
