Akins Hollis English IV 2011-12 discussion

Mr. Bingley & Mr. Darcy have now been introduced to the story. Before this ball, Mr. Bingley gets to meet the fathers of single young women hoping to catch his eye. Finally, at the ball, Mr. Bingley meets the Bennett family & becomes interested in the oldest sister, Jane. Mr. Darcy, Bingley's friend, doesnt dance with anyone & when Mr. Bingley offers Jane's sister, Lizzy, to dance with Mr. Darcy he basically says she's not pretty enough for him. -RUDE! This man comes off as a very sadity, stuck-up man, like none of the women at the ball were good enough for him. Lizzy on the other hand doesnt seem to care what he says about her. She doesnt think much of Mr. Darcy.
