Never read Fleming? Wow I almost hesitate to nominate (was the rime intentional or unintentional...or was it a code???? dun,dun,dun)...anyway, I think you'd enjoy Fleming, he's a bit dated...and to some annoying, but can be a good read.
I was thinking of going back for some of the older spy/fi stuff, (Fleming qualifies of course) but so many of them are totally out of print.
I also thought of the Secret Histories by Simon Green or the Repairman Jack books by F.Paul Wilson or even The Puppet Masters by Robert Heinlein which is very reminiscent of The Man From U.N.C.L.E. as the invasion is handled by a secret organization that doesn't officially exist and whose headquarters you enter through a stamp shop or some other innocent looking spot...but I though those might be pushing it as they could also qualify under science fiction or urban fantasy, so I'll go more traditional. How about I nominate:
The Brotherhood of the Rose

That is what I nominate!
(plus the movie is coming out soon)
I'm going to put the poll up on Saturday, September 10, so you have two more days to get your nominations in.
My fellow spy fans, we have a tie. Please vote in the runoff poll. It will close in four days.
