Anyone read it yet?

The Sookie Stackhouse Companion

nope not yet I have to get it first. I hope it is good.

I'm holding off on getting it til I can read a few reviews and see if its worth spending the money.

Will I am waiting till I can get the books store and skim it and see if it is worth it which I am sure it will be.

I have an already-purchased (and autographed) copy waiting for me at my local independent bookstore...will share my thoughts just as soon as I have some, if that'll help. :-)

"Finished" it last nite. I think it's a book for a real fan of the book (and Charlaine). I find half of the content are useless.

The novella at the beginning is great and so does the timeline of events and glossary for reference sake. But that's just it. I skipped all the cooking recipes, trivia quizzes, readers essays etc. But the novella is great. Oh I said that already ;p

That is what I read in some reviews. I really only want it for the novella but am not willing to spend what they want for it now. Figure eventually I'll get it. I would like the time line.

I haven't read it yet, but I hope too soon.

So far,The novella is very good and the timeline of events of all the books (including the last book) and short stories. The secret dialogs between Bill and Eric are very funny!.

Someone in a different group I am in on here said that the Sookie Stackhouse companion is very disappointing. So maybe I will wait until I get it at the library rather than buying it.

I am reading it now. Like someone else said, it's for a real fan. I like it, but I will be skimming a lot of it for now. Maybe I'll read the summaries as a refresher just before the new book is released.

It's definitely a book for a real fan like Misty and someone else said. I love it.
