Paranormal Romance & Urban Fantasy discussion

Hey guys,

I bought four of Christine Feehan's Leopard series books today at my local used bookstore because they seem like a pretty good shapeshifter series.

I believe I am missing book number 2 (it's either Wild Rain or Fever....I'm thinking Fever though. Sadly, they didn't have all in stock.). I'm at work right now so I obviously can't go into my bedroom to check.

How important is the reading order in this series? I'd like to get all five, but I'm eager to start it after I am done with my current book (which shouldn't take too long).

Am I correct in assuming the reading order is as follows?

Wild Rain
Fever
Burning Wild
Wild Fire
Savage Nature

I haven't read this particular series of Feehans. But from the OTHER series of her I've read, while you CAN read it out of order, there are some over-arcs. But hey, don't worry about it. I never do.

PS--check your library, maybe you'll get lucky and they will have the missing book.

Fever contains the first two novels, the awakening (first and Wild Rain (second). The books after are in the right order.
