My Dad owned a retail electronics store with his twin brother Joey on F Street in Washington,DC. The store was an SY traditional store.SY's referred to the business as a yo-yo store because of the unusual mix of goods.SY is slang for a Syrian Jew. Everyone communicated by Pig Latin,Arabic slang and gibberish in front of customers. A G was our slang for a customer.
