YA Today Book Club discussion

You can vote on the first Poll until Friday the 16th! I may extend it but most likely not.

I vote for Possess by Gretchen McNeil, though the other books also sound great. :)

What happens in the case of a tie? I think Kayelee should give the deciding vote since she chose the assortment of books. :)

I thought about having a one-day re-vote just between the two books. However 6 people have not voted, so if at least one of them do, we'll be okay. Also, the people who voted for the books that are NOT the top two can change their votes by the end of the day to help instigate a tie breaker. Keep in mind that Possess is carried in many more book stores than Damage is. If we read Damage we will all need to order it online or get e-reader versions.

Well the poll is gone so I guess when I had it ending today, it ended as soon as today began. Since this is the case, I'm going to go ahead and decide on Possess since our book club members can more likely buy it at their local bookstore. The more I think about it, there is the issue that having a book that is hard to buy might cause problems for some of our members.

I think that's one of the unfortunate side effects of a new-YA book club--these books may not be as available in stores.

well the author told me BandN rejected the book... So that's a bit of a different story.
