@ Alison.

Thanks for the nomination.

Here's the link Solace for us to have a nose.

I really enjoyed the secret scripture. What did you think of it?

For those that have nominated a book. If your nomination wins would you be happy to lead the book discussion??

emcnicho | 10 comments Hey Pauline! what about supporting Irish bookshops?

I got it for €13.99. It's a new trade back so there are no second hand copies around yet.

message 9: by Pauline (new)

Pauline That would be nice, but i dont live in Ireland and 13.99 euro is alot of money for a book!

John Braine (trontsephore) Sam wrote: "For those that have nominated a book. If your nomination wins would you be happy to lead the book discussion??"

Ah yeah - sure that's almost a given.

message 11: by John (new)

John Braine (trontsephore) I get any 2 audiobooks a month for 17.37 so luckily price is never an issue for me. Availability always is though.

message 12: by Pauline (new)

Pauline John , i am heading home to ireland in a few weeks for a couple of Months, do the libraries nowadays have these audio books you speak of???

message 13: by John (new)

John Braine (trontsephore) I think they have audiobook cds. But I've never used them. All the ones i get are downloads. You can get a lot of older books for free but i think the recordings are amateur. Like on http://www.booksshouldbefree.com/ i think you can get two books for free trial with audible also. That'd be a better introduction.

message 14: by Pauline (new)

Pauline Well someone posted the other day, 30 books to read before you die, i have read "nare a one" so i am hoping to wrap up warm in some library for 2 months and listen to all 30........thanks for the link much appreciated.
