Buwahahahahahahaaaaa! *Lightning Flash Here*
Coolio Amos. Looking forward to your input. ^_^
Downloaded. Now to find the time to read it! My TBR pile is starting to become cumbersome. Hey, do you think it would be possible for you all to stop writing? Just until I catch up? Please?
This is cruel, unjust and unnecessary.
Obsessives are people too. Barely, but legally.
When the International Court of Human Rights locks you up, I'll bring you a file inside a cake, Daniel.

Andre, thank you thank you thank you! Now I might go shave my head bald and call myself Dr. Evil! (Not really, but it's so tempting!)
Make sure the cake is made from beer. It'll be some type of sick irony if my escape fails and one of the guards kills me. ^_^
Daniel, I am so glad to hear that! Remember to only let me know sometime next century when it is available. :D
Here's the link to Smashwords, it's free forever, no code needed. You may have already gotten it from the other thread, you might not have. It's about 7100 words and takes all of 15 to 30 minutes to read, depending on your own pace, of course.

The cover looks very goth, all black with red lettering, so I made sure the story starts on a star cruiser and is heavily slanted towards Sci-Fi. The only two hints that this story isn't the typical vampoid story is the glass of beer on the front and the caption, "I'm sorry, there's no blood in your alcohol stream."
I'm not looking for an ego stroking ... I'm not like that. What I want to know, in your opinion, is if I succeeded or failed in getting the message across?
Do you think the goth/twi-tween social buzz-heads out there who wears fangs 360 days out of the year will find this story funny, offensive, or just ticked off that they fell for it?
This is my experiment, in large part, because I'm twisted that way. I'd like everyone's input. Oh, I don't care if you like the story or not. The purpose was to mentally ensnare, drag a person through to the vampiric part, and then hit them with the counter message that flows with the plot.
Of course, I could also merely be buzzing on too much caffiene. I will leave that judgment up to all of you. ^_^
