We will have several Master List available for you to use for your challenges. These will help you to choose books that are rated 4 stars and above by fellow group members and will fit into your challenges.

So there are a couple of differnt ways this can be done...does anybody have some suggestions to get it going?

I'm still trying to get the WLSM one to work. It's like pulling teeth trying to get people to list their favorites.

We could take the suggestions that are on WLSM and put them here, for a starting point

I really think with a bigger group it might be easier but who knows!lol Let me look and see what the other groud did.

So I was thinking instead of doing a Master List, why not make our own Listopia lists? We can link them all here and it will stay nice and neat. (sorry OCD is flaring today lol) I started one earlier for Protective Hero types...I plan to go through all of the cats for the Hero-Heroine challenges. It will take forever, BUT I think it will be easier than doing a master list. I know the list I started for WLSM is a pain and hard to get people to participate with all the add book/author thing being a little slow.

Jen however you think it will work best is fine with me. And I know all about OCD flare ups!LOL

I was looking for some inspiration in some of the other reading challeng groups out there (none are as good as ours will be btw;)lol but I can by these Reading Logs http://www.goodreads.com/topic/group_... Might be worth keeping in mind... though I like the listopia idea better☺

I like the Listopia because members can add a book that work I'n the list right?

Yes. If it's already on the list they can vote and it keeps them in order. Kinda nice. Less work for us.

AGreed, and if for some reason it doesn't work or we need a visual list we can use this idea down the line☺

Should we make a list of what lists we want to link to or make? If I can find decent lists for some of them we may not have to make all of them (which would be great).

Agressive Heroes -- link to list
Alpha males -- link to list
Brainiac Heroines -- link to list

Instead of doing a seperate folder for each little link...Am I making sense. I can't tell anymore...freaking fever is killing me I think.

Yes you are totally making sense and I think that would be a great idea, and less threads...which is a good thing☺

Okay. So let's start making the list and I'll start looking for the listopia stuff.

So we have all the heroes/heroines from our two challenges...what else should we have?

It might be harder to come up with but maybe seasonal books...like either the cover or the content would work for Fall/Winter/Spring/Summer. We could also do Genres with books that are rated 4 stars or more for the challenges they have to pick from a genre they aren't as familar with...I'll think some more.

I agree Shell with the 4 to 5 star challenges. It will help others broaden the horizens and discover something new that they may not have thought of checking out before. Does that make sense? It's late and the brain is turning to mush. LoL!

I'm going to move the lists over from WLSM to get us started. I'll start working on the Listopia lists tonight. That way there will be different ways for people to get the info they want. Once both ways are going pretty well we can do away with one...or keep it..whatever! ☻

Jen, how can I help you? Just tell me what to do and how you want it done and I'll get on it.

Help me make a list of 'topics' from all the challenges we have going now so I can get those lists started or linked up. Please.

Well since you said please.... Okay I'm writing myself a big note so I don't get distracted and forget!lol

lol It's no biggie. It'll get filled up eventually. I have a compulsive need to finish things that gets on my nerves. So, don't feel pressured!

Okay, for the challenges that are here actually in this group there are not a bunch of list to be made, but here are a few we could do...

♦The Years-Maybe link to the Best of (insert years), but I'm not sure it's needed, and it would be time consuming.

♦Audio Books- I think having a list a highly recommended Audio books would be great☺

♦Dystopian- (You may have this started already in the genre's)

♦Romance- The romance challenge you have up has so many various themes, but maybe we could just add books rated 4+ stars in various themes/genres

♦Themes- This could be a big project, but we can always start working and let people add in listopia...we have your romance challenge with themes, and I have the one I'm making so eventually we could do list for some of the commonly used themes☺

*Okay other than those the challenges didn't really seem like a list would work. Tech. we could make one for the October with all the letters and colors but that's a lot of work for a monthly challenge...we could just create a sugesstion thread for the monthly challenge instead where people can share their ideas.

Let me know what listopia list you want me to start or add to and I can do that too☺
