Redbeard (redbeardin84) | 2 comments heya folks.

Before I go and edit things willy nilly, I thought perhaps I ought to bring the issue to those with more experience and leave the matter in their hands.

Is there a good reason for this author to have two separate profiles for Phil Kerr?

See http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...

and
http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...

And I'll leave the appropriate action in your hands for any changes needed. I'm hands off.

Ubik | 87 comments The name he mainly goes by needs to be the only entry. Best and most realiable source for that is to go to the library of congress and do a search for him there. Then go to the profile of the name that is wrong and change the name over to the other one. After that, you can combine releases if youre up for it.

Cait (tigercait) | 4988 comments Hah, good catch, Redbeard! No, "P. B. Kerr" should be merged in with "Philip Kerr", which I know because I just merged "P.B. Kerr" (without a space between the initials) just a few days ago! There's already a note in Philip Kerr's bio about it....

Redbeard (redbeardin84) | 2 comments good to know, but seeing as I'm not sure of the ins and outs of the author merging process, I'm wary of doing it myself. IF someone wants to tackle it, be my guest.
