Steph (angel4492) | 32706 comments I was curious to see which series, out of those listed on Author After Dark's poll, you think is the "Series of the Year".

Cast your vote now. The poll will close on 1 Nov.

What's my vote? Lots of great series listed there, as well as some I haven't read (or heard of). I think, out of the ones I've read, I'd have to go with Nalini's Psy-Changeling series. It offers something for UF and PNR lovers alike.

If you would like to vote on the official AAD ballot, you can do so here.

Judithe | 6566 comments Hmmm...can't remember who was on the list, and having voted, can't access the poll! Regardless, I'd have to say Psy-Changelings is my favorite.

Judithe | 6566 comments Boy...life would be smoother if I actually paid attention to what I read! GOMEN! Just clicked on the bottom link!

message 5: by Josie (new)

Josie | 1967 comments Lol! It was really close between Psy-Changeling, Elder Races and Immortals After Dark but since it's for this year in particular, I had to go with Elder Races :)

Steph (angel4492) | 32706 comments Good point, Josie. I hadn't looked at as 2011 in particular. I may have to reassess and compare each series' 2011 release. Hmmmm, which did I enjoy more? Thea's 2 Elders, Nalini's Kiss of Snow, Neill's Hard Bitten, Darynda's 2 Charleys .... I don't know.

message 7: by Josie (new)

Josie | 1967 comments There's been some good one this year! I haven't read Kiss of Snow yet so maybe if I had, it would've swung my vote. I am loving the Psy-Changeling series though :)

message 8: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32706 comments I'm glad, it's a series that really does have something for everyone. LOVE it!

message 9: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (laurenjberman) There are quite a few there that I haven't heard of. The book I enjoyed the most was Dragon Bound so I picked the Elder Races.

Christina (AKA Babbling) (babblingbookreviews) | 1242 comments I'm with Josie on this. Psy-Changeling and the Elder Races. Of the group, they are the only two series I've read more than one book from, so far.

Sandra | 25908 comments Very hard to choose between.

I went Elder Races, simply because I've now read the first book a couple of times & #2 once, so I've read more books of that series than any other series books listed, this year.

message 12: by Judithe, Soap Operas never end.... (new)

Judithe | 6566 comments Ohh...oh...Psy-Changelings! It has to be the best!!! Though I must admit, I haven't read Elder Races yet...

message 13: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32706 comments :) If it gets reread so soon after reading it the first time it definitely wins the vote.

Judithe, I think you'll enjoy them. They are a lot of fun and written well, #1 esp.

message 14: by Sandra, Kindle Operator Licence Required (new)

Sandra | 25908 comments And #3 is about to be posted by BD.

message 15: by Judithe, Soap Operas never end.... (new)

Judithe | 6566 comments Hmmm...have so many others waiting for my attention at the moment, I'll just save that for my 2012 new series I think!

Judithe | 6566 comments This was a really hard one to choose...Have to bump up Elder Races now!

message 18: by Vi (new)

Vi | 943 comments I just read the first book in the Elder Races and it was suuuuper good. I loved it. Thankfully, I have the next book on hand. *Pats herself in the back for this foresight*

Steph (angel4492) | 32706 comments Yes, you should, Sensei! I agree, it was hard because there are some great golden oldies (not so old, but 5+ books out) and some impressive newbies too. Such fun!

LOL Vi! :D well done, indeed!
