Shaz (zabooksihaveread) | 1 comments I would be keen to know if anyone uses BookMooch and what your thought are. I haven't used it myself.

Lesley | 328 comments I have used it successfully in the last few months, having sent 4 or 5 books nationally and internationally. So far quite good, but having trouble finding books I want to receive.
I only send by sea mail when sending OS as airmail freight costs are outrageous.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9980 comments I have been a BookMoocher for 5 years. I have given away over 730 books and mooched over 950. I've found it great and I get a lot of great books that way, often brand new, but it's also handy for getting back copies of a series. I just put books I really want on my Wishlist and eventually, I get lucky. I give away books I no longer want to keep: some of the books I get from others I give away, some I keep. There's no obligation to send the books on to others, but you do have to give away some books to get points so you can request books. I have had mainly positive experiences with BookMooch: I am online with it all the time when I'm at home. I think it's great.

Lesley | 328 comments Wow, Marianne, that's alot of books. I really like the idea of my books being recycled around the world. I haven't got any from OS yet, but may have to do so in order to use up my points. I haven't used the wishlist option much yet with so many titles to put in, but should do that soon.

Melissa | 4 comments Yeah, I've been a member for a couple of years. I think its great. I've recieved and sent about 160 books. But recently I've had to go from posting international to just posting to Australia so I'm trying to seeing if i can boost the Australian interest in it.

My wishlist is huge which I find makes it easier to find books to mooch.

If anyones interested my page on it is

★ Jess | 3071 comments Oh, I have a few 'double copies' that I received as presents, or in some cases when I saw an edition I liked better and had to buy it. About seven or eight, actually. I think I'll join just to see if anyone wants those.
