Boxall's 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die discussion

This group now has over ten thousand members and seven or eight join each day. What member number are you? I went to the members' list and figured out that at 50 entries per page I am member number 6207, joining in February of 2009. I wonder who the 1001st member to join the 1001 Book group is?

No 4 if you go by when I joined the group, about a day after it was started in Sept 2007.

I went to "Members" and manually went to the page I was on. I looked on my profile and found I had joined in Feb., 2009 so I paged through it and found myself then calculated at 50 per page (and subtracting the right amount from the less than 50 pages) what my number was. Wow, number 4 is very low.

Too much math!

(So I'm just picking 10005.)
