Bobbi Lurie | 3 comments I am trying to add some books to my profile. When I try, they always go to "books to read" instead.

Does anyone know how to post new books and / or anthologies on one's dashboard?

Thank you,

Bobbi

David Santos (authordas) | 11 comments well normally you just search for the book when you find it, scroll over to "Add to Shelf" or whatever its called and select the shelf. Is that what you mean?

Bobbi Lurie | 3 comments I can't find those words or any instructions on adding books.

If you can advise in any way specific I would really appreciate it.

mlady_rebecca | 591 comments If I'm interpreting you correctly, you're an author and you want to add books you wrote to your profile.

In that case, adding a new book to Goodreads should add it to your profile. Just make sure you spell your name the same way. There might be a caching delay before the book shows up correctly.

As for existing anthologies, you'll need to ask a Librarian to add that information, assuming you're not a Librarian yourself. Posting in this thread is fine.

Sandra | 31414 comments Bobbi, are they books you've written or contributed to?

If so, all they need to make it to your dashboard is for you to be listed as the author or contributor.

If you are still having trouble, just list them here and I or another librarian will take care of it :)

Vicky (librovert) | 2462 comments Bobbi - I've added some more books that you've contributed to based on the list on Fictionaut, is anything still missing?

Bobbi Lurie | 3 comments Dear Sandra, mlady_rebecca and Vicky,

Thank you!
Vicky, I really appreciate you doing that. I have no idea how you did it--thank you. Do you belong to Fictionaut?

Very kind of all of you--thanks,

Bobbi
