What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Admittedly, I remember very little about this book (I have this problem a lot with books, I think because I read SO many), but I remember enjoying it tremendously and now I want to read it again and see if perhaps there was ever a sequel, but I cannot remember the name of the book for the life of me.

-I feel fairly certain this book was a YA novel, but I am not 100% sure.
-I know when I bought this book, it was fairly new and it would have been sometime between 2005 and 2008 (however I am thinking it was about 2007).
-I bought this book from Borders and it was out on a display, so I don't think it's from an indie author.
-I remember the cover being perhaps blue or black and with some sort of supernatural feel (I cannot recall if it was a ghost, or water, or what, more just the feeling etc - in my mind it is like combining the covers of Unwind with Fallen).
-The girl in the book begins seeing ghost(s) and there is some incredible supernatural aspect to the book. I do remember a lot of the book revolving around her seeing ghosts she thinks aren't real.

Maybe The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong. Published 2008. Chloe Saunders starts seeing ghosts and gets sent to Lyle House with other "troubled" teens who turn out to have supernatural abilities.

I think it is possible, thinking about it more, that it was not a YA novel, but one for adults. I keep thinking of the Unwind cover, so it must be similar...arg, I have looked for hours!

Then I shall also toss in The Secret Life of Sparrow Delaney

I just found it! It took many hours, but I found it, lol. It is http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16... :D yay! I can definitely see how I thought the cover was similar to Unwind when I would think about it, because of the hands. So am I supposed to move my thread now to Solved? It turns out it IS an Adult novel, but it's a ghost story as I had remembered and came out in 2006. Thanks for your help :)
