Goodreads Authors/Readers discussion

Hello,

I just received an email talking about this website Bookreviewdirect.com that publishes a newsletter which is supposed to reach 35,000 librarians and 3200 independent book stores. I was wondering if anyone has tried to promote their books in this way before I decide to spend money on it.

I haven't heard of this before, but I'm interested. I work in advertising and their prices are pretty good for that kind of exposure.
I would suggest you risk on ad and add the extra to put your book at the top of the list, as the sight of a boring few covers will stop most people from reading the rest. These people are time-poor with a short attention span (at least they will be when they open emails like this).
Let me know how you got on, I might try it too and we can swap notes.
