Romance Readers Reading Challenges discussion

Just joined? Drop in and say Hi!

I read about a book a day when I'm not working. If I'm reading a series, I prefer to read them all at once, or go back and reread...but I'm not too picky...I tend to read several on one genre and then get board and move on to another...
Looking forward to figuring out the challenges and reading new books!!!

I am married with no children, but I do have two alaskan malamutes Reign and Breeze. I welcome any friend requests as I love to meet new people and welcome any recommendations that people care to give. :)

Enjoy!

I start out motivated and excited but then... I get lost in a sea of books that are not related to the challenge!
I think I'm too ambitious with my challenge choices. I want to be a challenge MASTER, dammit!
Somebody help me, please.
Are there little challenges anyone knows about? Simple ones. Not too many books. Maybe with a set reading list to choose from?

I'm excited to see what everyone does in the group!

Thanks! I'll check it out!

Marianna - there are some smaller challenges in the Other Challanges folder as well, like Read A Rainbow. That challenge is a Bookcover based challenge of 7 books over 3 months.

Marianna, in addition to what Dee and Jane suggested there are also some group buddy reads every month that you might be interested in joining!

Happy reading!

Thanks for the welcome, Jane!
RRRC has been taking some of my reading time since I joined it about three days ago. Judging from the number of notifications I've received from RRRC, this group sure is busy. The challenges are really fun and the members' entries have given me to-read ideas. Great job, Moderators! :D A labor of love for the love of romance. You're not getting paid for this, are you? :D

Hello! I'm AC Kavich, avid reader and writer of romantic fiction. Glad to be here!
Feel free to send me a friend request : )

The moderators here do a wonderful job! They keep us all on track and busy with lots of challenges!! It is a fun place to be and talk about reading!

Like most of you, I'm an inveterate reader. I love pretty much any book, from non-fiction to fiction, and that includes romances. Who could say that the world doesn't need more love?
What I love about romance is Austen-like "learning" that often happens for both hero and heroine; they become better people, not just good spouses. I really like that idea of redemption.
I think that's why I usually like beta heroes... they seem more realistic when they grow and learn. But who wouldn't appreciate the alpha who adores and loves his lady?

Well said Erin! Welcome to the group!

Welcome Susie and Noura! I hope you have as much fun in this group as I do - feel free to jump in to any of the challenges! And please ask if you need help, everyone is nice and helpful here!

Watch out Susie - your wishlist will grow exponentially, and you'll be haunting discount romance ebook websites before you know it! The members in this group are very encouraging and enabling if you are looking to buy romance books ;)

My name is Sara. I'm 37 and married to a sailor. We tend to move a lot and we are currently in MD. I'll read just about anything, I'm trying to stay away from YA right now.
If you want, you can add me as a friend. I love meeting new people.

Hi Lheira, I used google translate to translate your message. If it is accurate I believe it reads, "Hi, I'm from Venezuela and recently entered the group, yet well I manage the application and do not speak English, the translator is not the best. I hope to share more soon ambientarme. Greetings."
I hope you enjoy our group.
