Romance Readers Reading Challenges discussion

All I'm going to say is I blame Brandilyn and Breann...as if I wasn't already enough of a challenge addict. :-p Though seeing Jane here as well is a nice surprise.

But hi my name is Shelby, I keep insisting I need an intervention as my challenge list gets longer and longer, but none of my friends from MMR have been any help. Somehow I doubt anyone here will be either. :D I'm a 32 actor/producer in LA and will read just about anything I can get my hands on.

Hi Shelby!! Yeah, B&B can be terrible influences!! And you certainly won't find any intervention here - at least I hope not! Sort of goes against the nature of things, pot kettle and all that... But at least you are going to be surrounded by like minded crazies! =)

They're awful influences. My Personal Goals page is getting ridiculous. And to top it all off Katie's trying to get me to do SRC too!

At least I have company in insanity. I'll try to take a little comfort in that.

Hello, I have just joined this group. I love romances, historical romance and also love authors like James Patterson and John Grisham. I love family sagas and books in series. I love to get involved in the characters over the span of generations. Danielle Steel, Fern Michaels and Nicholas Sparks are more of my faves. Hi everyone. My name is Ushma and I just joined this group, I see a of what I like on the bookshelf! My favorite romantic reads have to be romantic comedies, and for some reason sports books.

Anything by Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Jaci Burton or Deirdre Martin I love. My childhood favorite will always be the Harry Potter series. I'm new to this so I'm not so sure how it works, but I look forward to reading!

There is no right or wrong as to which challenges you join, except that you follow the rules of each challenge posted at the beginning of each thread. If in doubt, ask the question in the thread - everyone is really helpful :)

You are sure to see your TBR expand rapidly - unless you have great self-control. Which I don't ;)

I find myself adding faster to my books than reading it, I need to update my shelf! It's well over 100 books. I guess we all needs goals! Are you a big sports romance fan?

My name is Patty and I have been on Goodreads for awhile but just started really looking at the site. I don't know what took me so long since I am loving what I'm finding. My shelves are definitely a work in progress but my TBR shelf is getting much bigger. :) I read just about anything with historical fiction and romance being favorites. Hello everyone! My name is Deborah Ann and the Author of ‘The Destiny Series,’ a young adult paranormal romance, with a bit of a fairy tale twist. In addition, I have a new contemporary romance, ‘Memory Betrayal,’ that just released.

I fell in love with young adult books while sharing them with my two teenagers, and that rekindled my love for reading altogether; especially romance reads, I just can't get enough.
