So excited about this book club.
I’m pretty much read and read and read paranormal, historical, contemporary and erotic romance and YA romance too. If a book has a drop of romancein it I'am in! I joined Goodreads because I really didn't have anyone to discuss all these emotions with. Its not fun reviewing or talking about a book with someone who hadn't read it :.(...You guys are my people

We love new members here! Plenty of challenges and ways to keep track of them Andrea. Best wishes with the writing :) and make sure you post your author info and discussions in the self-promotion section...
Oooh - I love coffee with my books Ava~Lucy! And those blueberry muffins are making me hungry ;) I can see that sofa's attraction...
I so agree with your reasons for joining in here, Sharmila - I had no-one to chat with about my books either until I logged in here... Now I'm spoilt for choice ;)
Hope you all enjoy your time here. Don't be afraid to post questions in any of the threads. Everyone is really friendly :)

Outside of manga, I prefer fantasy with romance weaved in, and I favour LGBT romances as of late (or perhaps I always did, and have only bothered to pick them up now). Having read "Wicked Gentlemen" by Ginn Hale, steampunk is also beginning to look alluring...
While I read a book, I like to make marks of it in the real world... I tend to spam status updates, talk about them constantly and pin examples from the book to events in real life. While Googling "character challenge" to help develop a character's motivation, I passed a reading challenge here that looked like a fun way to further record the books, and so... Hello. ^_^'

You'll fit right in - we have some manga readers, heaps of fantasy lovers, a solid balance of GLBT fanatics and ppl who love steampunk (not always tied back to GLBT, but there is a bit of cross-over)... :)
Hope you enjoy our challenges!

So glad you joined us here at RRRC - I hope you enjoy it!
The sign-ups for the February Pick-It-For-Me Challenge are going on right now. Hope you stop by the Monthly Challenges Folder and take a look! It's a lot of fun :)

It's my first time hosting it and I'm nervous! I'm a Mod and long time member of the group, but this is my first PIFM hosting gig. Why don't you newbies join me and we can try something new together :)

Welcome to the group Amy! I'm so pleased Taylor had some suggestions for you... As you can see, this is a 'jump in and comment' type of group ;)

There was a discussion on what to read after 50 Shades... Click on this link: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/9... to see the discussion. There will be input there from a few members and you could ask for more book suggestions :)

Cheers!

I feel delighted having joined the elite group. I am a published author of Kindle eBook 'You Never Live Twice'- my first book link - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ALH5YF8
I highly value useful interaction with the established members of the author community and elite book lovers.
Warm regards
S.S. Soni

Of course, I join the day after the February 2013 challenge ends!
I love seeing what other titles romance readers are reading.. so many books, so little time.

And I agree....seeing what everyone else is reading is the best part! My TBR list has grown exponentially thanks to everyone here.
Happy Reading!!

My name is Beth and I love reading and writing. Romance is my absolute favorite genre. I love the way it whisks you away to another world, if only for a millisecond, for a moment, or for an eternity.
The books that make your heart swirl, the ones that leave a mark on your soul that will be imprinted forever...those are my favorites.
I also love the ones that make you laugh and cause your toes to curl.
There's nothing like a good love story, good characters, and good LOVE.

I recently heard something about steampunk in my area, what is it exactly? I am feeling a bit behind!

Welcome to the group Cathy! There is heaps going on - we are just about to launch another quarterly challenge so keep your eyes peeled for that :)

Welcome to the group Tish! Any of our members would be happy to help you with suggestions, but just checking out some of the reading challenges can help as well.
There are some great Romantic Suspense books out there, some with paranormal aspects, some without. I'm sure we can made some suggestions!

Hi Tish! Oh yes, there are some amazing Romantic Suspense books out there!! ~sigh~

Here are some guidelines for self promotion - Guidelines for Author Postings. Please make sure you keep any promotions to that arena.

You should check out the challenge listings (especially the Pick It For Me! challenge) for some great reading suggestions. Also, our monthly What are you reading? thread has some book comments and discussions if you are looking for feedback on any particular book you may be considering next :)
