Welcome to the group Cassie! Hope you find some inspiration for new books here on our shelves!!

Hehe, thank you, Jane!!! :DDD But I kind of lost my way around the many active threads and I guess I am mostly stuck in the land of bewildered. Most challenges seem to have some sort of a deadline for joining, so I missed the boat. Hopefully, I can catch another one before it gets too late :D

Squeee! I believe we both have the same interests- like gushing over characters and talking books- that's exactly what brought me here, but so far, I have yet to get familiar with how things work around here, heh. Welcome to the club!!! XD

Hi there!!! Count me in if you are recommending something awesome and want to share your love for certain, memorable characters :D I am all about adding books that are worth reading to my shelf!!! And fangirling over swoonworthy peeps XD Welcome to the club!! :)))

Hi Desiree! Looks like you will fit right in :) Just jump in anywhere!

The monthly, quarterly, featured author and annual challenges can be started anytime in the current period, so they are easy :)
The interactive challenges move around between needing a sign up and just jumping in. Yahtzee can be joined anytime, but Meet & Greet needs to signed up by a due date - but it is only a two month challenge, so the next one pops up pretty quickly.
The bigger team challenges are like the M&G and are time sensitive on sign up. But the next one is never far away!
And then there are the buddy read threads which you can start anytime with an interested buddy. And the Ongoing Challenges are entirely up to you when you start.
Have fun!

I love talking books with people and I don't have a ton of people to talk books with IRL so I'm super excited to find this group and get involved and make some friends.
I live in MA with my husband and cat. I have a blog I sometimes remember to post to and I've been using goodreads for years but I really want to jump more into groups to talk books.
Other than books I love crafting (cross stitch, jewelry making, and some basic knitting mostly though I did make all of the paper flowers for my wedding back in early march), baking, and playing video games.

Welcome to the group Jess! Sounds like you know your way around GR - hope you find a heap of interesting books in our pages. I found the easiest thing was to join a challenge and work my way around the group from there.
One of the monthly challenges are a great place to start but all of them would work :)

Thank you! The challenges all look super fun!

Have fun poking around the group and threads! Just ask (in the threads or send any of the Mods a message) if you need help or clarification 😊

I'm new to goodreads and trying to learn my ways around! I'm an avid reader and have recently fallen down the wonderful rabbit hole of romance. I also published my first novel and would love for everyone to check it out if they have time! Looking forward to meeting all of you!

My name is Pen. I was looking around to join a group with people who has a same interest as me. This is my first being in a group on Goodreads site. Let me know if there's any suggest of authors or book to read that you really liked.
There might be some books that we already finished reading recently or a long time ago I would be happy to talk about it.

Welcome to the group Pen! Hope you find some other members with similar reading shelves that you can chat with. Best way to get involved is to join a challenge and start looking through what everyone is reading :)

Good luck Adrielle - hope you find some great books to help with your craft!

I am Ali. I am a poet and I am really passionate about reading and writing poetry, especially love poems. I just recently publhshed my second poetry collection called The Rosary of Love. I am new to this group and I am looking forward to be part of productive discussions here.

Romance books are my favorite genre to read right next to thrillers. That being said, I loved Verity by Colleen Hoover. My favorite romance author by far though is Samantha Christy, I love all of her books!!
I joined this group because I am looking to expand my knowledge of romance authors so I'm looking forward to seeing who everyone's favorite author is!

Great to have you Ali, Pru, Louise, Kiana, KM and Prash.
Hope you find some great books to read within the pages :)

I’m Krystin I’m 30 and have JUST gotten into romance novels since I was stuck at home during quarantine!!! I joined this group to get some recommendations! I love a good rom com or something that has a slow burn. First read Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire and then The Deal by Elle Kennedy and I’ve reread them multiple times. I was able to finish 25 booked in my last 30 days in lock up haha and I don’t have as much time now that I’m back at work BUT would love to continue this reading binge!!! So Hello everyone, hope I’m posting where I’m suppose to be 😜

Sounds like you have had some great reading in the last month, as have many members! If only it wasn’t due to a pandemic... 🙄
Have fun looking around and jump into any of the open challenges! (I know you PMd me on the Meet n Greet ~ I’ll get back to you after dinner 😋)

I am Sally Forbes and I am a new Historical Regency author! I joined this group in my effort to reach more members and readers that I would love to work with!
You are all welcome!
Thank you!

I'm a very closeted person and just recently decided to come out of my hole so, I don't have any idea about how groups and people work. I love books that appear to be something they're not which leave me with questions. Please take care of me☺.
P.S I also like using emojis. My favorite is the smiling face with smiling eyes emoji. I use it when I'm nervous which is almost every single time☺☺.

I’m sure you’ll find some good books amongst our shelves 😊 Feel free to ask questions in the threads, as many do ~ or if you don’t feel comfortable asking in thread, simply PM one of us Mods or the member who is running the challenge 🤗
Everyone is really friendly and relaxed, so don’t worry that you will ask a silly / unusual question. We were all newbies to Goodreads and this group once!! 🌸

I'm always looking for new ideas and look forward to the group discussions and recommendations

Welcome to the group Natalia!! There's no shortage of members here happy to discuss their latest book read, or to recommend new options. And joining the challenges is a great way to chat with the members :)
Look forward to seeing you around the threads!
(PS - there are quite a few members here where English is not their first language, so you are in good company!)

THANK U!!! <3

Looking for further recommendations for any other romance books :)

Welcome to the group Clare! Hope you find some great options within our shelves :)
I only branch outside romance for some humorous non-fiction and other books that promise to be special. Otherwise I can find it all in the one genre with so much variety!! 🧡

I can't wait to participate in discussions, find new books to read and get to know fellow romance readers!!

Welcome to the group Trix! Love how you were sucked into romance :)
Hope you enjoy trawling our shelves for fresh blood - and passing on your recommendations.

Welcome Kelly!! - I can't imagine the sales that Amazon and other e-reader companies must be making at the moment! I really hope our authors see a direct benefit 😀
Look forward to seeing you around the threads!

I do hope to meet new friends, awesome bookstagrammers, and fellow authors as well. Connect with you soon. ❤
Greetings,
JL

I hope that here in the group I participate in discussions, make new friends, and find new book suggestions to add to my bookshelf! 😊

Hope you have fun going through the threads and checking out our books and some of the fun challenges. If you aren't sure of something, please just ask!!
😊

I have been on Goodreads for a while but had not come across this group. I just finished a challenge for another group and a friend suggested this group to me.
Most of what I read is romance and I am super excited to be here and participate 😊

So, I got on the PTP group announcements page, and low and behold! My name was on the list. Okay, I can do this. Group one. Got it. I read the rules 3 times because although I didn't sign up, I was determined to do well!
I was thinking up an introduction as I read through the group name suggestions and... well... came across another (the RIGHT) Christy's introduction post!
All of that being said, I'm Christy! I'm a 28-year-old mother of two. My boys are 7 and 9 (well, almost). We are doing virtual school this year, I am training to be a travel agent, and I have been reading a LOT more than what I have in the past. I go through phases of wanting to read and convincing myself that I don't have the time.
I am polyamorous and have been married to my high school sweetheart since 2010 (also the year I graduated). My husband is my rock and the only reason why I survived into adulthood. We have been through so much together and are still as in love and happy as we were when we got together in 2009.
I currently don't have a second partner, technically, but I am seeing a second guy. He's monogamous and as of right now we don't see ourselves being in a long term relationship. He's having a hard time wrapping his head around polyamory. I swear how we met, what we have gone through, and how well we connect would make a best seller romance! He agrees.
When it comes to reading I love light-hearted romcoms, post-apocalyptic fiction, suspense (I am a true crime junkie!), and sci-fi/fantasy/paranormal RH and YA. I'm currently reading a book recommended by my mono-love, who is not a reader. So I was really excited when he suggested it to me. Tell No One by Harlen Cobin. I don't really like the writing style, but I am enjoying the storyline.
Anyway, nice to meet you all! Thanks for having me. I look forward to actually signing up for and participating in challenges. ;) :P
