OMG.... why'd it take me so long to find this group!! I'm excited about all the challenges I can do for 2021 that I missed doing with you all in 2020 😁

Hi, my name is Petra. I'm 20. I'm from Croatia and I love romance novels but I got into a bit of a reading slump and can't find a good book and I'm trying not to re-read Harry Potter for the 10th time so I hope to break the monotony with some challenges and maybe a buddy read.

Hey everyone! I work in a public position, so I chose to use my middle name on Goodreads to keep my reading selections away from prying eyes. I was actually a member of this group several years ago, but I stopped reading (gasp) for a few years while I was handling a lot of personal things. I recently picked up my e-reader again, and have devoured 10 books in the last 4 weeks. Feels good to be reading again.

I enjoy reviewing books and posting my thoughts throughout the reading process, so I’m looking forward to some fellow reviewers for more discussion on the ones we do and don’t like. Also looking forward to some challenges which I hope will expand my TBR list.

Great Lilly - you've definitely found one of the right groups here on GR! There's plenty of activity going on - watch out for the team challenges in the new year, but I found the best way to dip my toe in was with the Monthly challenge, and then branch out from there.

I'm arrived right now...
I'm not new on GR and for years I have been joining some challenges. But all in Italian! Because... I'm Italian.
So... I'm slowly learn English. I've not big trouble to read.. but speech and write are still difficult.
I'd like to join some challenge directly in English just to improve the languages. And, of corse, to find out some awesome new books.

I read almost all kind of genres but in English I prefer to read romance, YA, LGBT, some contemporary fiction and some non fiction books.
I'm scared from fantasy and I've just try with thriller... I'm afraid I don't understand.

My name's KT and quarantine has finally convinced me to socialize
a bit more with fellow readers. To wit: I'm thrilled to join a community filled with other romance fans! I've been reading romance as a genre since I was in my teens, and have tried everything from the kitten-fluffy to the grittiest grimdark. Ripped bodices, tartan-clad Scotsmen, kajillionaires with tragic pasts and heroines who don't put up with their nonsense...
So long as it's got a happily ever eventually, I'll likely give it a go!

My name is Michelle. I just rediscovered the groups on here a few days ago! I am in a rut and rereading a lot of books because I love them but I need to find new loves! Also I don’t have anyone to talk to about books! I love the feeling of finding a really great book with unforgettable characters that I can become immersed in!
