Hello to everybody in the group. My name is Anthony. Not much of a talker but do love to read as does my wife. Looking to find a few good reads in this group for her Christmas gifts. She's into romance as a genre and spends a lot of time in her books. I prefer realism in my stories and as an author with a new book out I hope it captures this romantic realism. It seems that most good reads have to include romance or they fall flat. Thanks for the group!

Have been a member with goodreads for a while now and never thought of checking here.
I work full time as a medical receptionist. I have 2 children. I love cats. I love to read on the spare time. Im not entirely sure how this book club works. I hope there will be guidance.

Welcome to the group Sylvie! This group is really simple - we post a range of reading challenges based on romance covering a heap of different timeframes. So you simply select the sort of challenge that appeals to your reading habits and preferences. There are monthly, quarterly, yearly, ad hoc and team challenges.

When I joined, I started with the monthly challenge (this month hosted by LaurLa: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...) and selected my books based on that, updating in the thread as I read. Some members leave feedback in the challenge thread, and some just read ;)

But all the current monthly, quarterly and yearly challenges are open - so go with whatever takes your fancy! The more you interact, the more you will probably get out of the group...

I will be posting an Advent Calender challenge sometime soon - obviously for the holiday season. Just need to get organised!

Hi. My name is Patti and I’m not sure how I found this group but I love it so far! I really like how it’s set up, especially the Meet & Greet.

My Goodreads name always confuses people 🤪. When I first joined a long time ago, I used my 2 dogs names for my GR name 🦮 and now I can’t bring myself to change it. I added the (Patti) when I started playing in challenges but everyone always thinks Maddie is my name. That’s fine because she was the best dog ever. Lol 🐾🐾

I love to read and have more time on my hands since October. I’m happy to be here and thanks to everyone that does all the work!

I am bouncing between the dark romance, PNR, and all the feels with the sweet stuff. Age is such a non-issue here! We are all different ages - but all love romance across the full range of sub-genres, and that's all that matters 🤗

Hello! I've been in the group for a bit but I wanted to introduce myself. I'm Amanda and I am from Florida (but hopefully moving out of the state soon). I am finishing up my Master of Architecture degree and debating applying to Doctorate programs -- so instead of making pro/con lists, I'm choosing to read! I love a good romance book in any form: YA, adult, contemporary, historical, cheezy/full of tropes, or completely out-of-the-blue-plot.

My favorite trope has to be the fake relationship trope & the two people one bed trope. I'm excited to be here, thank you for having me!

Welcome Gemma!! I found the best way to find new books was to read through some of the challenges and see which readers rated similarly to me, reading the same authors etc.
