Well, if it says latest than grammar would allow you to read the first book in a series if that is the only one that is publishes.

Lauren Smith Yay for grammar!

I'll wait to see if Claudia has an opinion though.

Claudia (claudiavstoomanybooks) | 1779 comments Claudia to the rescue!

What I meant was:
Last - there are 8 books in the series and you read #8.
Latest : there will be 3 books, but so far only 1 has been published - read #1

The name thing: I'll actually be OK with using a surname. More opinions?

message 54: by Lauren (new)

Lauren Smith Awesome, that's yes to both :)

You also nominated the name task, so I take your acceptance of a surname to be authoritative. Also, some people would use the word 'name' when referring to either a first name or a surname.

About the surname thing - I am sure for any surname out there, there is a person named it. So it should be fine :D

Lauren Smith Lol, possibly. One of the main characters is named "Phillips" (with the 's') which in my opinion should be either a surname or a screwdriver.

Lauren Smith "Horse lover"? Now I'm going to be thinking of him as either a horse lover or a screwdriver when I write my review.
