Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

I've been a Librarian for a while now and I just went to check an old anthology paperback I just picked up (THE FRANKENSTEIN READER edited by Calvin Beck) and there's no record for it, so I thought I'd add it - I've manually added books before with no problem but now I get a message saying "Sorry, only members with verified email addresses may create book records." I checked and I'm signed in and everything. Am I doing something wrong or is this just a temporary glitch?

It was a new safeguard put in place to combat spamming. If you go to the "settings" tab in edit profile there should be a link to verify your e-mail.

It sends you an e-mail and you have to click a link to verify, very simple to do. :)
