I paused Frankenstein and am reading Fortress of Owls, much more interesting!

Yes, by far. I am proceeding with my reread of Wars of Light and Shadow, currently almost finished with Traitor's Knot and it's leaving me breathless. Also rereading Royal Assassin.

Just did Royal Assassin, cried again! Was going to go straight on but stopped myself. I will have to re-read the last Wurts ready as a refresh for the new. I reread the whole series about a year ago.

Do fancy Smoke and Bone but waiting for the price to come down.

Max Started Elantris yesterday, enjoying it quite a bit so far. At the same time, I am listening to the Audiobook Version of The Warded Man while I am cycling or riding the bus. Enjoying that one aswell, although I have only heard the first of 17 Tracks so far.

Reading one book and listening to another works pretty well so far, but I am interested in how it will work once more and more characters enter the stories...

Cecile | 61 comments Finished Revelation last night in a reading frenzy. I'll continue with Restoration tonight.

Sandra (sleo) | 1913 comments I finished my reread of the Wars of Light and Shadow just in time! I got an email this weekend that the new book Initiate's Trial is on its way to me, and I checked Kobo to see if I could preorder and they had it! So I downloaded it last night and will be reading it.

I am so excited!

Kevin Xu (kxu65) | 530 comments I am reading the new Drizzt book, Neverwinter that I got last night.

message 59: by Nell (new)

Nell (pukiawe) I guess it was a Ballantine month for me. Just finished Geist (Book of Order) by Philippa BallantineGeist. Characters and storyline so good that I ordered Spectyr, the second book in the series while only half way through.
I also finished reading the debut steampunk novel, Phoenix Rising-A Ministry of Peculiar Occurences by Pip Ballantine and Tee Morris. Fun and action packed, can't wait till the next book.

Phoenix Rising

Jenny (jennyc89) In addition to Exile, I'm reading Water for Elephants and am listening to Anansi Boys.

Barbm1020 Jenny, I loved Anansi Boys! Hope you do too.

message 62: by Zel (new)

Zel (verablueowl) Tiger's Curse and The King of Attolia. *sigh*

message 63: by Mondspucke (last edited Oct 27, 2011 01:02AM) (new)

Mondspucke Started and finished books 1-5 of the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning (was anyone else disappointed by/with (?) the ending?) and now I'm reading Elantris and One Day. (For some reason, when I'm reading something by Sanderson I'm always stuck after the first 100+ pages, so I need something non-fantasy on the side.)

Sandra (sleo) | 1913 comments Started my first McKillip. The Riddlemaster of Hed. Great so far.

Thanks! I'm only a few chapters in but I already like it a lot. I've definitely fallen for Gaiman's writing.

You're in for a treat. That's one of my favorite series and rereads.

Barbm1020 Terry PratchettSnuff
Now reading Terry Pratchett's latest and loving it!

message 71: by Joseph (new)

Joseph | 1651 comments I finished Shadowheart Shadowheart (Shadowmarch. #4) by Tad Williams and, because I wanted something short and because it's been on my shelf for about 20 years now, picked up The Darkling The Darkling by David Kesterton by David Kesterton.
