I have to disagree on the Seattle's Best

Daughters>Sons (oops, I thought this was the controversial thread for a minute.)

message 19: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6484 comments I would disagree with that last one Cynthia. They seem pretty = to me.

message 20: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Well what the hell do I know. I've got two daughters and zero sons. Maybe someday I'll be fortunate enough to have a nice son-in-law or two.

For some reason when I was pregnant I wished for daughters and I got my wish. Some days (middle school) I wished I could take it back, but they are both amazing women now.

message 21: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6484 comments Sons seem a lot easier to raise from every one I know that has both. But when they turn the corner it is pretty special.

message 22: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments You gotta love that corner-turning. Nice to feel like you did some OK parenting somewhere in there. Or maybe it was just blind luck, who knows. I know some pretty great parents with messed-up-for-life kids, so who can tell.

message 23: by Mary (new)

Mary (merrussell) I'm so lucky to have a great son. We love to hang out together and he has turned me on to so many things I never would have tried. Thanks Jesse!

message 24: by [deleted user] (new)

My son is far more tricky to raise than my daughter -- at the moment. But they are equally wonderful.
