They are both owned by Starbucks.

I would disagree with that last one Cynthia. They seem pretty = to me.

Well what the hell do I know. I've got two daughters and zero sons. Maybe someday I'll be fortunate enough to have a nice son-in-law or two.

For some reason when I was pregnant I wished for daughters and I got my wish. Some days (middle school) I wished I could take it back, but they are both amazing women now.

Sons seem a lot easier to raise from every one I know that has both. But when they turn the corner it is pretty special.

You gotta love that corner-turning. Nice to feel like you did some OK parenting somewhere in there. Or maybe it was just blind luck, who knows. I know some pretty great parents with messed-up-for-life kids, so who can tell.

I'm so lucky to have a great son. We love to hang out together and he has turned me on to so many things I never would have tried. Thanks Jesse!

My son is far more tricky to raise than my daughter -- at the moment. But they are equally wonderful.
