From This Moment On (Ella Fitzgerald) - Cole Porter
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGDv48...
During a 20-day period between February and March of 1956, Ella entered the recording studios of the newly formed Verve Records and made history. She recorded most of Cole Porter's best known work, and these sessions were compiled into "Ella Fitzgerald Sings the Cole Porter Songbook", an album which has since been accorded a spot in the Grammy Hall of Fame for its musical significance.
With orchestra conducted and arranged by Buddy Bregman, Ella sings "From This Moment On", a song composed by Cole in 1953 for a musical ("Out Of This World") in which it was never used. The song subsequently appeared in both the stage and film versions of "Kiss Me Kate".
Note: Guys, if you can add a youtube example of the song that is even more terrific. Folks can listen to the song itself.
