I think bookswap "projects" can be a great way to discover new books. I read somewhere about this one does anyone here know it? or does anyone have experience with other bookswap groups? (preferably a worldwide/european one, since I don't live in the USA)
I use PaperBackSwap all the time and really like it. I have literally swapped hundreds of books through them with very few problems. It is a great way to find those hard-to-find books while getting rid of those you've already read. I'm not sure if it is just in the US or if there is a European version. There is another one called BookCrossing, I think, but I have not used it, and am not sure if it is just in the US.
i don't know if its available worldwide, but there is also www.booksfreeswap.com - I uploaded some of my books there, I also use booksfree.com (the parent company) for audiobooks
Oh, you're right. I was thinking of Bookmooch. I have an account there too. I like their website more than PBS but I can never find the books I want there.
I joined bookmooch (because it's international) you can find me here. I uploaded my first 10 books and now I'm waiting to send one so I can try and mooch one myself (since I need the points, there not many books I want in my own country). Really excited! Will go to my storage soon to find some more books that I put away for now to show on my inventory!
