Lush Library discussion

anyone else been a bit hopeless at this?
Since being back at work I manage a couple of pages a day - thats it! since finishing American Gods I've only managed about a third of 'We Need To Talk About Kevin'. . . . bought a new bargain book in tesco yesterday tho..... may swap and see if it's better for bedtimes ;-)
Also intend to order Stories from Amazon asap........... will try and do better honest!!!

At least you tried to do it, sometimes a book just doesn't... mingle with what you enjoy reading and I have to say that I didn't really like that book much.

I'm a bit behind, having just finished Septembers 2nd book but think I might just do one of the two from Octobers to try and catch up.
I thought 'We need to talk about Kevin' was fascinating but probably not the most relaxing bedtime read!

It's a book I've read before and love but I've been so tired lately I haven't managed more than a couple of pages per night! Need something a big lighter for my brain to just absorb rather than wake up at 4am and it still hasn't switched off!!!

Apparently I will be even later than planned starting my next book - it seems there is only one copy of 'The night circus' in all the libraries in the county! so I have to wait until it can be delivered, or buy a copy from Amazon. So much for not spending extra on more books

No but I think I may have tracked down a copy I can borrow, will find out tomorrow hopefully :)

I've only done one so far but that has generally been about funds and lack of selection at the library. I've bought The Night Circus though so I'll read that at some point.

I'm still trying to read American gods too, I normally read loads but have lost my mojo the past few months. I will try harder :)

I've finally got round to buying the Night Circus. Hopefully now it's half term i might have chance to read and comment a bit more (in between the mountain of marking)
