i'm good with trying that out. if you want, browse my two titles and see if they're anything you'd be interested in reading. i'd be glad to trade books, read and review. let me know if you're up for it, but don't decide unless one of my books is really something you might enjoy. they're both about 275 traditional pages.

Sandee is Reading (sandeeisreading) hey guys! I'm Sandee. My blog is http://sandeelovesbooks.blogspot.com

A lot are published-only, but there are still quite a few that accept indie.

Jenn (jebbie74) | 13 comments Hiya! I'm Jenn and I'm a bookaholic. I started reviewing (in earnest) this year and have started with a whack load of indie authors on http://jebbie74.wordpress.com

I read quite a lot of genres, however, sci-fi is one subject I struggle with. I really enjoy thrillers, YA, horror, suspense, memoirs, mysteries and even some contemporary romance.

I read very quickly so I usually don't have much of a backlog. I prefer mobi when reading.

You could have many such moments, Jenn. Not only will you find Of Good And Evil interesting, you may even find it spellbinding --- once you get into it. At least it will keep you turning the pages, maybe even keep you up at night worrying about what's going to happen to the characters. That's been reported to me by women readers who love the book.

Megan (paperbookblog) http://paperbookprincess.blogspot.ca/
I am interested in reviewing anything romance and young adult but I especially love new authors or self-published authors of those genres because I feel they bring new life to the reading world and I would love to be a part of that by doing a review. I would also be more then happy to hold cover reveals, guest posts, and author interviews.

also, seriously, sounds nuts, but if you want to drive more traffic to your blog, write a post about disney princesses. i have about 220 total posts over the past 5 or so years. the one post i wrote about disney princesses has had more views than the other 219 posts combined. not kidding. there are people who do searches all day for some reason about disney princesses. when i look at the search words that bring people to my blog, i always see words having to do with disney+princess+something else...

HAHA too bad I despise disney characters. Hey, that reminds me. I just wrote a review of the book "Yellowstoe Redemtion" and likened it to Pocahontas. I wonder if I'll get more views.... :)

so write about how much you dislike the characters. but be specific. don't just say "disney characters suck." i'd be interested in reading that.

Yeah, i bet. I was contemplating reviewing the Hunger Games as well. Then I decided not to because I have too many books on my review list. Kinda sucks, but I don't want to disappoint.

message 96: by Scott (new)

Scott (bookblogger) Hello everyone,

My name is Scott and I run an Indie review blog specializing in fantasy, but I really decide what books to review on a case by case basis. I have 3 other part time reviewers who are all authors themselves who help me out with reviews. The only genre I don't review is erotica and it's pretty unlikely that I will choose to review a romance.

I also have an 18 month old daughter that I love to read to so YA/children's books are great too. I have a contact form set up on my review request page if anyone is interested. Have a great day.

Joyce Shaughnessy (joyceshaughnessy) | 78 comments Hello, everyone! My blog is mostly about my two books, A Healing Place and Blessed Are the Merciful, Our Forgotten Soldiers. The first is about the American Depression and the second is a romance set against the backdrop of WWII in the Philippines between an American Army nurse and an American Soldier. They are in battle together and I follow them both through their experiences of life as a Japanese POW and internment survivor. The book is inspiring, but is also emphasizes the cruelty of the Japanese captors. I hope someone will come visit my blog as I continue to work on my next book, The Unsurrendered, A Search for Jacob.
