Joyce, I think you and I would get along nicely. I also write historic fiction. Check out my "Rosebloom" and "A Burnished Rose." First one is set on the Mississippi in the late 1930s and the second -the sequel- follows the main character, Rose, as a nurse in WWII in North Africa and Europe.
