Each month I will be featuring and reviewing one self-published work. I will have the book artwork featured on the blog all month (it's a huge, huge piece of sidebar real estate) and will write a review at the end of the month on the blog and blast it out to my social network. My contact information is on the site or you can message me here if you would like to nominate a book.

I have a blog that kinda gets in my head as well as my co author's about diversity in YA, science fiction and Fantasy and how we'd like to see more of it.We review books on here mostly YA and fantasy but right now we're new so we're taking submissions from every genre. We just prefer diverse and multicultural fiction but not picky.I would be glad to introduce other themes as well. If seeing diverse characters in books is important to anyone, please don't hesitate to join. :)

Often heard at our house: “How did a national bestseller go to print with all these typos?” Don’t let that be your book.

If they are going to be free from an online store, I can post them under FREEBIES, which is, as you can imagine, is a popular spot on my blog
There are other ways your books can be promoted as well.

Fantastic blog and great reviews, I just HAD to add Kayla to my Book Reviewers blogroll :)

I'll be posting one review every Sunday. I'm working on my second review right now and have nothing to review next week so if you want me to review your book, just drop me a message :)

If you're interested, you can get a free copy of "Journey to Light" which is the first volume of my epic fantasy trilogy (very different in tone and seriousness from 'Princess'). Just use coupon code CS22U on Smashwords. Before you decide, however, I suggest you check my Goodreads page for descriptions and reviews. This is the first third of a long story (640 pages total) with many characters and multiple plot-lines. I'm aware that not everyone likes this type of work.
"Jesika's Angel," my first book is also 'you set the price.'

I read fast paced urban fantasy with interesting monsters and cool sidekicks, gory horror, dystopian and adult/YA paranormal depending on the story. I don't like gothic and historical plots, all sex no story, slow plots, whiny/arrogant main characters. I don't read fantasy, sci-fi, steampunk, or erotic paranormal.
I do read and review for authors based on the plot of the book. It wouldn't be fair to review things that don't sound like my cup of tea! And even if I don't like your book, I will still promote it to people that I think might like it better.

I review books on my blog, The Grand World of Books. I especially like mysteries and dystopians, but I also like historical fiction, YA, some sci-fi/fantasy and nonfiction, and anything else that strikes my fancy.
I will not review on request romances, and especially not erotica.

Does anyone do reviews of indie literary novels? The amount of genre titles in indie is disheartening to auth..."
A.F., I know you mentioned being swamped, but I'm still hoping you'll consider reviewing my novel. I've written a work of literary fiction that I've just recently published called Darshan about a family's one-hundred-year journey across continents to escape a crime that haunts them through generations. Set in Colonial India, Colonial Fiji, and the San Francisco Bay Area, the story begins with hardships based on historical events that then follow the characters throughout their lives. The three male protagonists are constantly beset with struggles to be better in the face of so much tragedy, and they are often supported by silent and formidable women who help guide them through their misfortunes.

and also on Smashwords: https://www.smashwords.com/extreader/...
Thanks and hope to hear from you!

Hi all potential reviewers out there,
I've recently written a YA book called "Caught in a Moment" which I would say is intended for the older end of that range and should be enjoyable by adults too. If you're still looking for new things to read I'd be glad if you'd have a look at it for me and see what you think. Here's an outline of the story, which I think is a pretty original premise:
Whilst all the world stands still, Alex Trueman wanders alone in the silent streets of the city. All around are the motionless figures of his fellow citizens, solid as marble. Caught in a Moment (78,000 words) describes Alex’s adventures in the unique world of Intersticia. “He’s a Daydreamer,” states his school report and no one who knows Alex would disagree. But this mental state, this condition of temporary disassociation from reality is one that Alex has immersed himself in once too many times. He has daydreamed himself unwittingly into a world outside of ordinary time, that exists in the slender intervals between instants. From Alex’s point of view the world around has frozen into immobility. There are delightful possibilities in the hushed streets with their motionless cars and people, but as the hours pass exhilaration is succeeded by anxiety. And he is not alone. Alex soon discovers that he shares this world with others. There are a few dozen fellow dreamers who share his fate. There is plump, bespectacled Will, pretty brunette, Kelly and the lonely outcast Paulo. Presiding over them all is the enigmatic Ganymede, an irascible vagrant who distributes food to his dependents and sets them perverse tasks to perform in return. Alex soon finds that he has rare skills in Intersticia, skills that set him on a collision course with Ganymede in which the very existence of Intersticia is put at risk. Nor are all the inhabitants of Intersticia dreamers. Some of them are dead; spirits lingering on after the instant that was their last on earth. The terrifying Cactus Jack, Death’s delegate in Intersticia, stalks the streets in search of these loose ends. Alex is soon engaged in a desperate struggle to cheat Death of at least one of his victims.
I don't know if the brief synopsis appeals to you but if it does you can download the book for free at present from Smashwords.com. This is the first of a trilogy, incidentally. The second and third volumes are called "Worm Winds of Zanzibar" and "Angelic Upstart". "Worm winds" is already written and is out there too. "Angelic Upstart" is in the process of gestation (about 45,000 words in).
Here is a link to its Amazon page http://www.amazon.com/Caught-in-a-Mom...
And here it is in Goodreads http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/15...
If this sounds like it might be of interest to anyone I'd be delighted to hear their views.
Many thanks
Martin

Hi Martin
This sounds like a very interesting plot and possibly a great adventure. Is it still available for review? I don't know if you require any further reviews but if you do I'd be interested.
Cheers Alisinny

I am mostly interested in reviewing horror, urban fantasy, paranormal romance, sci-fi and fantasy. If you'd like to follow my blog and would like a follow for your site in return, I'd be happy to do that! =)

Agency Rules - Never an Easy Day at the Office

I am looking for reviewers for my epic fantasy, The Coin of Zeus, Bloodlines (1 of 3).
Here is the short-short:
The war between the realms ended millennia ago, but, even after all this time, the worlds have not regenerated. They can't. Not as long as the Coin of Zeus is out there, lost, waiting to fulfill its master's will. When Gabe and his friends find the coin stashed in grandma's attic, its magic activates, and alerted to its presence everybody is trying to get their hands on it.
