Hi all! I’m so excited today! And looking for a little help. The first mystery in my new Benjamin Tucker Mystery Series, ‘Vengeance is Mine’, is on the runway waiting to publish. We can hardly stand to do this, but we are waiting in position and hold until we get a few advance reviews. If anyone is interested in an ARC (publishing lingo for Advanced Reader Copy, I just learned) to consider for a review, please let me know and I will send you the ebook file of your choice. There is no expectation for a good review (well, there kind of is, but we’re looking for brutal honesty and will take whatever the truth pans out). If you’re willing to provide a review, we’d like to ask that you post it on my author site (https://www.facebook.com/HarryJamesKr...), and also on Amazon and Goodreads once the book is published. A most grateful thank you to anyone for any help. Harry.
Back cover blurb:
Driven by a traumatic, violent event in his teenage years, Benjamin Tucker, bestselling true crime author, is obsessed with helping authorities solve savage crimes near his home turf of Holly Springs, North Carolina. When a series of decapitated female victims is found in neighboring communities, he is helplessly drawn in to the investigation to help bring the killer to justice. But in a bizarre twist of events, the psychopathic murderer becomes fascinated with Tucker and stalks him, presenting him with unimaginable, grotesque gifts. The hunt for the killer turns personal and Tucker isn’t sure if he’s become the killer’s idol or his next victim.
Vengeance is Mine, a gripping thriller with a healthy dose of droll humor, is a tale of sadistic revenge guaranteed to keep readers on the edge of their seats until the very last page.

I love connecting great books to epic music! My books gotta have romance and be at least NA... I get grumpy with only kisses ;) I also read paranormal/supernatural.

I'm just starting with my blog. I review mostly fantasy and mystery but I'm open to every genre ;)

Hi Sharon, my name is Sara. I share your love for books like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Hunger Game. I love them all!
I'm a new author of a NA fantasy 'Ecliptic'. Here the description:
"Have you ever wondered what the signs of the zodiac really are, and why they have influence on all human beings?" Alex asked us out of the blue.
Was he kidding? What did this question have to do with our situation?
On the night of 13th June 2035, during an exceptional shower of shooting stars seen all over the world, mysterious signs representing zodiac constellations appear on the shoulders of Izie De Rossi and her twin brother Sam, two ordinary teenagers living in London.
From that night on, the lives of the twins will never be the same. A cruel countdown begins, leading them to fight for the survival of the entire human race alongside extraordinary creatures of the zodiac endowed with supernatural powers, the Guardians.
In the midst of all the dangers and sacrifices forced upon her by her mission, Izie meets the handsome and mysterious Riley. She feels immediately drawn to him in a shocking and overwhelming way... but things are not always as they seem. "
I'd be delighted if you could be interested in reviewing it. I can send you the Pdf version of the book immediately.

Thank you,
Sara

Hi Tianna, I saw your blog, it's great! I love books and songs too (unfortunately too many of them and not enough time!).
I wondered if you might be interested in reading my book and reviewing it. It's a NA fantasy.

Summary: When divorced single-mom Carrie Lucas moved to Seattle she knew it was time to start living life on her own terms, and stop playing by the rules of everyone else. While exploring her new city she falls for Sayid, a charismatic lawyer who has life figured out. But one traumatic night, Carrie discovers evil doesn’t come in the package she expected. Afterwards, she struggles to make sense of what’s real and understand ultimately who is at fault for the tragedy that unraveled her life.
In a gripping and powerful narrative, Carrie tells the true story of how falling for the wrong person can cause so much more than heartbreak. Where Fault Lies is a chilling exploration of memory through trauma, trust in humanity, and a captivating story of strength and survival that appeals to the heart of fathers and mothers, sons and daughters, and men and women alike.
Message me on Goodreads if you are interested! Thank you,
Carrie

Click here: https://www.goodreads.com/ebooks/down... for an excerpt of:

My name is VPain, I am a mother of three and a striving poet. I enjoy cooking, laughing, loving and learning. I am currently a slave to society's blue collar world, and a part-time artist. I wish there were ways for poets to always have work. Because poetry can be used everywhere! I have taken it upon myself to use it for healing, for myself and others. One day I looked at my life (I wasn't too old, yet.) and realized how much of a coping skill writing had been, and how much of the writing could be molded into a tapestry telling of what a woman really goes through before she earns her stripes. So I am all about girl power. I call myself a Neo-feminist. I am not focused on squashing masculinity, but I will not mistake intimidation for it, nor will I excuse or allow either to rule/ruin my life! This is why I chose the title, "Hear Me Roar" for my poetry! I want to encourage women to hear their own voices. Differentiating them from the messages society blares at us is paramount. Do not feel pressured to follow every nuance. (For example: "Stand by your man" isn't exactly the best advice in every case.)

I'm looking for reviewers who would be interested in reviewing fictional humor. It's hard to find reviewers who are interested in humor. I currently have two books out in a series (both are very quick reads, around 80 pages). I'd be happy to send along a copy to anyone interested.
I know humor is so subjective, so if you want you can get an idea of what it's like through my website www.johnnybooks.com.
Thanks in advance!

What I'm especially interested in are posts from people who've lived the experience of being a caregiver or family member. Thank you for your feedback!

I spent the last couple of weeks combing through Goodreads posts looking for review sites for my new eNovel Cigerets, Guns & Beer by Phillip T Stephens available on Amazon, Nook and iBooks
Dodd breaks up a convenience store robbery on his way through the tiny Texas town of Sweet Water Falls Texas. What’s the thanks he gets? The sheriff won’t let him leave, the car lot can’t find the parts for his vintage Mustang and he seems caught in a rivalry between women looking for some new blood.
It seems a family named Dodd were killed robbing the bank in the forties and a half million dollars was never found. Everyone thinks Dodd returned to find the missing money and no one intends to let him leave until he recovers the missing money and maybe, just maybe, a long lost flying saucer.
During that time I compiled a list of the book review sites that are still active or at least on hiatus but might become active again. I broke them down by major genre so you don’t have to spend quite so much time culling out the sources as I did and I weeded out the sites where it was impossible to find a contact link.
I can’t guarantee any success, many have not responded to me and one was so rude as to suggest my book could’t be worth reviewing because I misspelled the title (as if I didn’t know or that spell check wouldn’t have stared me in the face all the time I wrote it).
But hopefully this will save you some of the work I had to do.
The list won’t fit in this comment so you can find it in my new Goodreads blog page if you’re interested.

That's a great list Phillip. I run Coffee2words, it is still alive, I just had too many books in backlog. The list is getting back down to a manageable 28, but it might be another 2-3 months or so before I start accepting review copies again.

Thank you Phillip! I have actually had trouble looking for review blog sites nowadays that accept indie/self published books. Much appreciated!
- CCE

My question: Are there any reviewers/bloggers interested in reviewing this genre, or is this passed by in favor of novels?
If anyone knows a blogger who is interested in the self-help genre, could you let me know? (You can message me if you feel more comfortable with that.)
Thanks so much for your input! Peace!
