I second that. :)

Thank you for your kind words! I am a self-published author of two published books: A Healing Place and Blessed Are the Merciful. They are the first two books in a series and am writing my third and last book in the series now. I have become passionate about WWII in the Pacific. My books are historical fiction, and the more I write, the more I discover. I weave fictional characters around facts and actual characters, such as MacArthur, Roosevelt, Chick Parsons, Wendell Fertig, Emperor Hirohito. I have become so passionate about it that the third book goes back to 1936 because I wanted to find out all I could about Japan before the war. My character in the third book, The Unsurrendered, is a spy who goes to Tokyo from 1936 to 1939. Obviously, he is my hero. He works his way into the hiearchy of the Japanese Imperial Family. Hirohito wasn't the figurehead who did nothing, as I thought. Instead, he put his imperial stamp on everything Japan did before and during WWII. It amazes me how many people died because of his ambition and greed for Japan. My heroine saves my hero's life, and I love that I can even include actual forts, prisons, camps, etc.
