This is a place to discuss the October read Howl's Moving Castle.

Karin | 415 comments This book was the most cheerful part of the day for me these past 3 weeks. I do not understand why, but Sophie, Howl, Califer, and Michael were so the cliche of an odd family of misfits. I might be going completely off here when I said that the ending was so right that I now want to read the next books that are sort of 'sequels' to this one, just to see what wacky fun adventures Sophie and Howl will get themselves into. I would definitely recommend reading this book to my friends in the future because this was a great read in terms of characters and plot.

Well, I started it, but I've been distracted by Eragon. It looks like I'm going to enjoy Howl's Moving Castle though. I like the writing style...can't believe I never read Diana Wynn Jones before. :P
