The hero, Gareth, is a creature of the night that you never thought could be sexy—but, oh boy, were you wrong. After Gareth rescues a local village boy, Evin, from a brutal attack, the sparks really fly between them. Reviewers have said that Gareth and Evin's sex scenes would be worth five stars if they comprised a book of their own.
However, this is not your formulaic romance. It is a densely plotted adventure tale which features a male/male heroic couple and never shies away from their hot sex scenes as their relationship develops.
The guys are separated for a time, during which one of the villains uses a love potion to capture Evin for use as her sex toy. There are glimpses of the two in bed—but those are not erotic scenes by any measure. Eroticism is reserved for our heroes, Gareth and Evin, both when they first meet and when they are reunited and it is clear they will defeat their foes.
If you've been looking for something different, and you're willing to try a book that's 50/50 romance and adventure, In the Darkness may just be for you.

So far, the longest and shortest works are set on an alternate medieval Earth, where fantasy creatures exist and men have learned to make one form of magic work.
I also have a more traditional male/male romance novella, Jump First , which is well reviewed here on GoodReads.
My writing influences are Amy Lane, ZA Maxfield, Jordan Castillo Price (romance and paranormal stuff), Stephen King, Elmore Leonard (pacing and dialogue), and Brandon Fox (hot sex and adventure).
