The discussions will begin at the end of each assigned reading period. Thus, either Sarah or I will put up a thread for Chapters 1 through 11 starting on 4 November. Another thread will appear on 11 November to discuss Chapters 12 through 23, and so forth.

By the end (and we'll see who survives... dropouts will get a burial at sea with full honors), there will be 12 discussion threads we can look back on (and, when we finally return to port, let the fish stories begin!).

Meanwhile, keep quaffing over in the "Pre-Sail Chatter" thread. Time, as is its wont, is running out!
