Maggie (maggie-swift)
Name
Falladin Copper

Age
seventeen

Gender
male

Appearance
Tall and slender, Falladin is characterized by his slightly long, dark brown hair and light blue eyes. In his school days, he was seen as the dark, handsome one; now, everyone seems to ignore him, like he's invisible. Of course, that's how he likes it. Falladin is quietly graceful, moving with ease, and scrutinizes anyone with his pale, intense gaze before judging them on a personal level.

Personality
Falladin is quiet, calculating, and shrewd. While he might have been the silent type in his days in Candor, Falladin is now more the kind of person you feel awkward locking eyes with; the kind of person everyone glosses over. A Factionless. The word used to bother Falladin, when he was first kicked out of Candor as he failed his test. But in the year since, his immediate anger, hurt, and dejection has turned to calculating coldness at times. He knows now that the system of the city is fatally flawed, and he is just biding his time until he can strike back at its weakest link.

History
As explained before, Falladin was originally Candor. The stark blacks and whites suited his personality and appearance perfectly, and he seemed to fit in, if not well, then at least passably well. He never quite made it to the level of obsessive honesty of his peers and family. In fact, the constant speaking-of-your-mind irritated him at times, although he would never voice that thought, like many others. Since Falladin was and is so introverted, many of his classmates did wonder why he chose to stay with Candor--after all, he never did really speak his mind as much as anyone else did.

On the day of choosing, Falladin was torn between Candor and Erudite. If he had chosen Erudite, like his test showed, then he might have had a happier life. But he couldn't bear to leave his little sister, mother, and father, and so he chose Candor. He failed the lie detector test, and was kicked out pretty quickly. Dejected and feeling like a failure, he left his family and went to live on the streets, alone in the world.

Or so he thought. In the Factionless, he found a group of proud individuals, biding their time and fuming over the unfairness of their situations. They eagerly took him into their family, sharing what they had and helping him survive in the harsh street life. Without them, Falladin would never have gotten his job as a truck driver, and never would have found even a faint glimmer of happiness in his new life.

In this new world, Falladin has recognized the Factionless for who they are. Untouchable. Unrelenting. Unstoppable.

Family
He doesn't like to talk about them. Mother, Lucy; father James; sister (five years) Anna.

Crush
None right now.

Maggie (maggie-swift)
Name
Jade Lockley

Age
sixteen

Gender
female

Appearance

Tall and slender, Jade is light on her feet and quick with her words. Her smile is dazzling, but inside lies a heart filled with hatred for all those who are a part of the city's faction system. Her long brown hair lies straight against her back, usually pulled back in a loose braid or ponytail, and her bright green eyes hold warmth for fellow Factionless and daggers for anyone Candor, Dauntless, Erudite, or Abnegation. Somehow, she can only bring herself to have a distant dislike of Amity. They just can't be hated.

Personality
While she can be loving and caring, Jade will do anything to protect her people. Her strong will and kind personality clash constantly, so she seems moody at some times. Jade has a secret jealousy buried deep in her heart; an envy of those living in factions. They have a soft life, know where they belong, and don't have to worry about where their next meal will come from. But on the outside, and even the shallower layers of her heart, she hates their guts.

Jade also has a twist to her already multi-layered personality. She's a poet. While she didn't have much of a chance to learn extensive history on literature in the little schooling she received, she has a way with words that astounds anyone she meets. One time, she even submitted an anonymous work to the Erudite center for a few laughs--that is, until it won prestigious recognition for "Anonymous Poem of the Year." Of course, that just makes her hate them more--surely, they were mocking her--but all the same, she loves her poetry and her notebook is never far from her fingertips, scribbled half with poems and half with dastardly schemes of revolution

History
A revolutionary at heart, Jade would most likely have been in Dauntless, if she was born into the system. Unfortunately, that wasn't an option for her. Born to Jayne and William Lockley in a corner of the Factionless section, from an early age she learned to hate all things faction. The Factionless was her family, her faction, so to speak. So Jade learned the ways of the world from an underdog's point of view.

She has always admired the Dauntless for their daring, but finds them foolish and spiteful. She sees Erudites as haughty and horrible, Candor as stuck-up and proud, and Abnegation as a wolf in sheep's clothing. Of course, she is just mildly annoyed by Amity, but that goes without saying.

Jade has big things planned for the future of Factionless. Contrary to popular belief, Factionless have a sort of system of government, and a leader to boot. Jade aspires to take her mother's position when she gets old enough, and hopes to lead the Factionless into an uprising like the city has never seen.

Family
Mother, Jayne; father William; older brother Matthew

Crush
There was that one boy who came from Candor, but he seemed stuck up. *Needs a crush*

No, maybe secretly she's in love with a Dauntless or even Erudite. You can choose--love doesn't have to make sense.
