SPOILER ALERT: did alex die??!?!?!?!

if alex died, i might as well cry... and probably abandon the series. BUT according to the blurb of pandemonium (lauren oliver's next), lena seems to have moved on to another guy after a short period of being sad over alex's death. i mean COME ON LENA. HAVE SOME FAITH! alex cant be dead. my prediction: lena + other guy happens (ewwwww) and then alex comes sometime close to the mid-end of the book when lena and the other guy have gotten closer and fallen in love and kissed (YIKES). then its a scary love triangle. lena better pick alex. i dont know how alex escaped, he probably made some huge sacrifice just to get lena back and when he sees her with someone else...? its going to be tooo painful to think about. I LOVE YOU ALEX! PLEASE PRETTY PLEASE WITH PRETTY ON TOP, dont die!! and lena, you better still fall for alex, or i will kill YOU. but that might break alex's heart...the sad dilemma of idiotic female characters sometimes. i cant wait though. the time has caused me to think up more gruesome fantasies of what happens while alex is dead/MIA. aaaaah!

Spoiler warning Lena and Alex find new partners in pandamonium but Alex is jealousy of Lena’s new parent thinks he’s a spy but really Alex does love Lena, but dose t want to hurt her, he’s working as some would call it a double agent to rescue people so they can’t love again, but Alex doesn’t want Lena to feel the pain love can bring so he lets her go but is still there for her, but he says hurtful things to her not to hurt her to protect her, but Lena is confused Alexes new partner knows that but deep down Alex does love and care for her.
I loved this book. the storyline and romance was so good, I was so hooked I couldn't stop reading. Alex is one of my fav book boyfriends. BUT.. the ending f**ed it up for me. I hated the ending, especially when I read the synopsis for the other books from this series because it seems like the romance between Alex and Lena vanishes or at least gets delayed till later in the books. Also the plot becomes much darker. I don't know If I will read the other two books. the fact that Alex got shot broke my heart. Someone PLEASE let me know if the other two books are worth reading!!

I dont know if my last message got posted, Alex is not dead he is resurected but he has a scare on his face or something and comes back looking a bit monsterouse and at the end of the last book everything turns out fine for Alex and Lena well im still not finished the second book I skiped to check but its fine to me with my yo yo memory ill plb forget about the spoiler I gave myself anaway so to me its still worth reading so to those who might DNF because they think Alex is dead don`t trust me, I haven`t finished the series yet but me doing this makes me keep going, its a great valentine day or season read.
This maybe a bit of a spoiler to some but to those who think they don`t like like spoilers, but to keep people happy Alex is not dead he gets resurrected, i am still on the beginning of pandemonium book I checked at the end of the third book requiem I haven't read it yet but I spiked till the endish and well Its a good positive ending and Lena and Alex seem back together and still fighting the good fight to me it may sound like it needs another equal but maybe not Ill just have to finish reading Pandemonium and start the last book, me I don`t like spoilers but sometimes its good to skip ahead and see if the character you like lives or stays dead with my yo yo memory continuing reading the book where I left of from despite what I found out dosen`t bother me to me its just like a reread.

i cant wait. but i am still not a fan of love triangles. im not critisizing Lauren but i kinda dont like how easily Lena is and how she really just does what she feels is right based on her gut. Lenas character is shaped of of who she hangs out with and where she is with
SO..... If she has "fallen in love" with someone else, wasn't or isn't she just lustful rather then in love?

Most of you are right. Alex doesn't die other wise trust me. i would have given up the book a long long time ago. But in Pandemonium she falls for a boy called Julian hopefully unaware that Alex is still not dead however fighting between life and death yet this chick still runs off with this dude...Gosh it makes me freak out. Anyway (Spoiler Alert!!!) She has too choose one in the end and she chooses Alex!!!
i dont believe Alex dies. i just didnt like this series bcoz i heard that she meets and perhaps falls for another Like EWWW. I felt insane myself gosh
I think Lena will fall in love with another guy but will still be consumed with greif for Alex. Then Alex cones in at the end of the book ( being broken out of the crypt by Lena s mom) and find lena with another guy.

An editor did a review on pandemonium already.... Its terrible. Lena has a new love interest. Im pissed because apparently alex isnt even IN the second book... My best guess is that the love triangle will appear in the third book. Unfortunately im not going to be reading them anymore, because if lena falls in love with another guy while alex is fighting for his life to be with her... well,thats just not right.

I soo agree with Abiie...if she gets over him after meeting some random guy in the forest, I'm gonna me soooo mad!! I hate it when that happens in books....

I think he didn´t die.... If he died, there would not be a story for the next book. I think he was close to dying, but he survived and was taken to jail.

Don't worry, read Pandemonium, Lena finds someone else... Pandemonium=best twenty bux I've ever spent :)
He's not dead. I'm not saying this in the whole 'I really hope he doesn't die because that would suck' kinda way, it's just that you can't kill off the love interest in a book like this, too many people would hate it AND it would also mean there wouldn't be a love triangle - There is definitely going to be a love triangle in Pandemonium.
he couldn't have died because there's gonna be a sequel and its all about her trying to save him.
